36 weeks and 5 days....

Here We Are Again!

Things are still going good. I'm not miserable. I'm for sure not comfortable but the end is getting so close and that makes me so happy!!!

We went to the Doctor Tuesday and everything is looking good:) I'm still at a one but I'm happy for that one! :) His head is still down so that's good. Dr. Thompson said Connly is good to come!! He is such a positive Doctor. After he checked me and I asked my questions he said Alright we'll see you Tuesday or before! I'm ready for every one's idea's of how to get him here!!! I've got a few but I'd love to hear more! My dad's birthday is January 5Th(Tuesday) I'd love to have him that day because I was born on my grandpa's birthday and how awesome would that be if Connly is born on his grandpa's birthday. I think it would be pretty awesome!!!

Things I have been feeling...

*That nerve I think its called The sciatic nerve it runs from your lower back down your leg. Kinda makes it hard/painful to walk.

*I can tell he's really running out of room when he kicks it's really sharp.

* I'm a little on edge:) SO STAY POSITIVE WITH ME PEOPLE!!

*I'm kinda getting tired of hearing you look like your going to POP, You are so BIG(who says that? people do!), Your STILL pregnant, You've been pregnant for so long! I can't believe how big you've gotten...just to name a few.

*I've been having some contractions and wow they stop you in your tracks.

*I've went crazy about cleaning our house and making sure we have everything ready for him. I wake up in the middle of the night thinking about what I need to get and wondering if I have everything. My mom says it's called Nesting:)

* I'm happy to say that I got some medicine to take from Dr. Thompson for Heartburn and Oh it feels so good to NOT have Heartburn.

All these things I'm feeling will be so so worth it when he gets here!

Being pregnant and be able to have a baby is truly a Miracle!

I'm still SO SO excited to meet our little guy.

The other night Paul said we should probably put the car seat in the car(cute he's just as excited as I am). I agreed and told him we need to vacuum out the car before. He says alright lets do it in the morning...I couldn't wait til morning once I start thinking about it I have to do right then so there we were at 11 at night cleaning the car out! We got the car seat in and I love looking back seeing it knowing Connly's going to be in there soon!

I'm still working on his room. I don't want to post pictures until it's all done:)

Christmas.

We spent our first Christmas married in St. George. Christmas Eve we went bowling with The Paul's mom and Stephen. Just Paul and his mom bowled... Stephen and I both have back troubles right now:)
We had dinner with the Wardles then we watched everyone open their presents.
We then went home to open our Christmas pajama pants that my mom and dad gave us to open on Christmas Eve. It's a tradition:) We loved them! Thanks!
Christmas day sadly I forgot to take pictures but we had a fun morning. We got up opened our presents. Paul gave me a treadmill and some other fun things and I gave Paul a dresser and clothes In my family we draw names but this year we did it a little different and drew families and we got the Stowells and Mandee and Jaren had us. We got a some great gifts! Even though we spent Christmas down here my parents spoiled us with a ton of great gifts. Even baby Connly got cute stuff! Thanks again Mom and Dad. Paul then made me a yummy breakfast and then Paul and I were able to talk to my brother and it made our day. He sounded so good! I can't wait for him and Paul to finally meet! Paul had to go to work at three:( but I went over and hung out with Lisa and baby Cache.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas!!!

Home Sweet Home...

Thanks to our friends Norm and Lisa I was able to catch a ride up north to Nephi with them Thursday night. Paul worked Friday night and I really wanted to go up north and get his Christmas gifts. We made it to Nephi around I think 12:30 am. Friday my dad needed to run some errands up north and so I was lucky enough to spend the whole day with him. We seriously laughed the whole day. My dad is one heck of a guy:) :) It was nice cause some of the stores that I needed to go to he didn't really want to go in so he'd dropped the big prego girl off at the door and when I came out he was right there to pick me up. On our way home Mckel called and asked if I wanted to go up north with her and I couldn't turn down a girls night up north so I was up north ALL day but it was really a fun day!! Paul got to Nephi way late Friday night.
Saturday was the Lunt Christmas party in Sandy its always a fun time. We went bowling and this lady right here is my cute Grandma Shirley and she Won EVERYONE even the boys haha Her score was 160!!

WAY TO GO GRANDMA!!!

I love this guy right here:)

On the way home from the party we drove through the festival of lights picture to come...Thanks for the pictures mandee!

Sunday was a great day. We went to church at my home town ward, Paul and me went down to Grandma Donna and Grandpa Ted house and hung out for a couple hours. I love them so much and I miss not seeing them every week. We then went to Chase's and hung out with a bunch of the boys I grew up with they are like brothers to me and Paul has so much fun with them. Paul ended up going with them to Orem to play basketball at 12 am!!! Crazy boys! Paul had a great time and didn't get back to my parents until 4 am! I'm glad they are so good to Paul and invite him to do fun things with them.

Monday Paul and me went up north to get some Christmas shopping done and we ate lunch at Kneaders YUM I miss that place. We headed back to Nephi and hung out with family, colored Mandee,s hair and made some Delicious (yes Mckel Delicious!:) Chocolate and Carmel Covered Pretzels. My dad had the very bright idea that we head back to St. George Monday night so we wouldn't have to drive in the snow this morning. So we left Nephi around 10 got home around 1! When we left I started to cry I love my family so much and this year we will be spending Christmas in St. George it will be the first Christmas ever to not be home in Nephi. I cried until Fillmore lol I think being pregnant doesn't help at all.

Today we had another Doctors appointment I still get so excited to hear our little man's heartbeat! Things are looking good. His head is down and I'm dilated to a One. Doctor Thompson said the end is near I can't explain how excited/nervous I am I can't wait to finally be holding our little miracle!!!

Mele Kalikimaka

I just wanted to share a little part of my brother's email...

I love to read Christmas stories to know the true meaning of giving i thought about Christmas this week and thought of all the Santa clause and gifts and that. Then i read a quote that said "If it wasn't for the atonement there would be no Christmas, no Santa, no gifts, this would never exist" i thought that was cool with out the atonement Jesus wouldn't be the Christ he would of been just a man that lived and taught good things the atonement completes the meaning of Christmas so remember that in you heart we are celebrating the birth of Christ and usually when we have birthdays we do everything to make that persons day and please them so we should do the same for Christ and he said the way you can please him is found in Mosiah 2:17 we can serve others around us i love you all so much i thank you so much for the love and support i have from my family i can't wait to talk to you. Mom and dad maybe you can have woody run down the stairs now since he is a house dog? but i love you so much I'll talk to ya Friday MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Elder Jones

I'm very excited to talk to Jordan tomorrow. Having a missionary out makes Christmas so exciting. I love my brother so much. He has always been a very good example to me.

Funny story about Woody(quite the name we know:) is not a house dog he just really wants to be. I don't blame him its COLD in Nephi. This last Monday morning around 4 am when Paul got home he came through my parents back door and was trying really hard to be quite so he didn't wake anyone up. He didn't close the door tight and Woody(huge chocolate lab) welcomed himself in the house. We could hear someone walking around up stairs Paul says to me dang it I woke your mom up. She's a light sleeper so I told him its okay she wont be mad at you and we went to bed. I went up stairs when I woke up and my mom says Paul must of been trying real hard not to wake us up and didn't close the door tight and Woody came in and took the garbage and scattered it all around the house and took all of the shoes by the back door outside and was laying in the living room when my mom came out of the bed room. I was dying I couldn't believe it. We were all amazed he didn't take down the Christmas tree and the whole house.

SO when Paul said dang it I woke your mom up...IT WASN'T HER walking around up stairs it was the dog! My mom thought it was Paul walking around and didn't want to make him feel weird if she got up and went out there to see why he was being so loud. When she finally came out of her room she came out to find a big mess and woody laying in the living room chewing on my dad's slipper! Sorry again Mom!!!

Visiting Teachers...

Last Monday my visiting teachers came and I haven't been able to stop thinking about what we talked about and what they shared with me So I thought I shared with all of you:) Shannon shared a little part of President Dieter F. Uchtdorfs talk The Love of God in the November Ensign. I love listening to President Uchtdorf, something about his voice and the way he says things really hits me.

Why Does Heavenly Father Love Us?
Think of the purest, most all-consuming love you can imagine. Now multiply that love by an infinite amount—that is the measure of God’s love for you.
God does not look on the outward appearance. I believe that He doesn’t care one bit if we live in a castle or a cottage, if we are handsome or homely, if we are famous or forgotten. Though we are incomplete, God loves us completely. Though we are imperfect, He loves us perfectly. Though we may feel lost and without compass, God’s love encompasses us completely.
He loves us because He is filled with an infinite measure of holy, pure, and indescribable love. We are important to God not because of our resume but because we are His children. He loves every one of us, even those who are flawed, rejected, awkward, sorrowful, or broken. God’s love is so great that He loves even the proud, the selfish, the arrogant, and the wicked.
What this means is that, regardless of our current state, there is hope for us. No matter our distress, no matter our sorrow, no matter our mistakes, our infinitely compassionate Heavenly Father desires that we draw near to Him so that He can draw near to us.
She also shared this little part of his talk-
My dear brothers and sisters, don’t get discouraged if you stumble at times. Don’t feel downcast or despair if you don’t feel worthy to be a disciple of Christ at all times. The first step to walking in righteousness is simply to try. We must try to believe. Try to learn of God: read the scriptures; study the words of His latter-day prophets; choose to listen to the Father, and do the things He asks of us. Try and keep on trying until that which seems difficult becomes possible—and that which seems only possible becomes habit and a real part of you.
