A fun little Getaway!

We went down and stayed in Vegas for the night. It was so nice to just spend time together and get away from work and school! Since Paul started school there hasn't been much time for just us. So this short getaway was much needed:) We had a really good time! Ate some yummy food at The Cheesecake Factory, walked a lot, laughed a lot and shopped! This might be a little weird to some but we like to people watch? We get a good laugh. There are SO many different people in Vegas. I found out that walking the strip in the 100 degree weather when pregnant I blow up like a dang balloon. I couldn't get my wedding ring off! Don't worry I think my face, hands, legs, feet and everything went down or at least I think they did!;) Anyways it was a fun fun time!

p.s. The night before we went I had Paul color my hair. It actually turned out great its wasn't his first time but I get a little nervous every time you just never know what your going to get. Then he says he wants me to put the extra color from my hair on his hair(keep in mind we put slices of a level 3 on my hair aka dark dark brown) So anyways we did it and I about peed my pants laughing when we washed it out. ITS BLACK!!! While his was processing I decided I wanted bangs again I've cut my own before but this time I cut them WAY too short. Paul was trying really hard to not laugh and he kept saying they look fine and he liked them. Then when I told him I look like Joe Dirt! He lost it! PERFECT!!! Elvis and Joe Dirt! Bless our hearts!

ONE year mark

Paul has been home one whole year from the Honolulu Hawaii Mission...Its crazy for me to think he has been home one year and we've been married for six months AND we'll have a baby boy in 17 weeks! He didn't mess around or should I say WE didn't mess around. lol! When you realize you want to spend eternity with somebody, you want eternity to start as soon as possible! Why wait right? I'm grateful for the choice he made to serve a mission! He is the most humble guy I know. He would do anything for anybody. Anyone that knows him would agree. Our little family is blessed for the decision he made! I know he misses the people in Hawaii. Can't wait to go back next year!!!

PAUL & MADIX!!!On Sunday Paul turned 22 and Madix turned 2! We woke up had a great breakfast, went to church and came home and had a birthday party! I love you Paul and Madix!

Baby Update

Warning: this post might be boring to some- no pictures a lot of reading

Our little guy was moving around like crazy at the ultra sound we did at 18 weeks. That's the one that they checked the heart and all the rest of the things they check.They tell you to drink 32oz in 30 minutes and don't use the bathroom for an hour. Sounds easy but its not it kinda hurts. He was moving so much that they couldn't get real good pictures of him. He wouldn't even show his face. Naughty! In the middle of the Ultra sound the girl tells me to go pee just a little bit...um i don't know how to go pee just a little bit. They couldn't get good enough pictures of his heart and some other things. At our last doctors appointment we were told we needed to get another one. We went in for another ultra sound yesterday and my friend and old roommate Tana was able to do it this time. She does an amazing job. She explains everything to us and you can tell she knows her stuff! I didn't have to drink as much water this time. Our little guy was way more calm this time. Way to go little one! She said the heart and the rest of the parts look good! He's still a boy to:)He's measuring up to be a big baby. I'm very excited about that! I love big babies! We got lots of pictures. He's growing like crazy. My grandma Shirley was in town yesterday and wanted to come to the ultra sound. It was fun to have her there:) Some other fun things that have been happening.....

-I've been feeling him a lot more lately. Its the most amazing thing.
-Paul felt him for the first time Sunday night. He LOVED it!
-My mom is going to make the baby bedding:)
-At night I feel HUGE
-I need a couple new bra's:) :)
-I'm not sick anymore!
-I talk and Sing to our little guy when I'm alone. I'm pretty sure he doesn't enjoy it when I sing. That's alright little one not a lot of people do!;)
-I'm not excited about the Glucose Tolerance Test(you know the orange drink and the blood work) If you know me I'm afraid of needles and I've been told the orange drink is pretty nasty.)
-I went to the dentist Tuesday and my gums are black and blue(A few people did warn me that my gums would hurt because they are more tender when pregnant) Painful! I'll never do that again.
-Paul wants to take our little guy to his first BYU football game on Saturday(if we can get tickets)
-I have dreams about our baby almost every night.

That's it for now. I know I say this all the time but I'm going to say it again and probably lots more...I'm SO So so excited to meet our little boy and to hold him. I'm a little scared for the giving birth part but I'm sure by the end I'll be SO ready for him to be here. I love you little guy and I love to feel you. It keeps me going and reminds me that all this getting big stuff is going to be so worth it! I love you!

6 months today!

Paul and I have been married for 6 months today! Lots has happened in 6 months.Time has gone by so fast.I am so grateful for Paul and the person he is. There really is NOTHING better to be married to your Best Friend. Before we were married quite a few people told us that you have to fight for your marriage and that hard time will always come. Its true...But through the fun and hard times there is no one else I'd rather have by my side. Paul helps me to be a better person. Together we have learned a lot and we have so much more to learn together. I can't wait! Its going to be a fun ride! Paul will be an amazing dad he is already so good with kids. I can't wait to see him play with our little guy. We both can't wait for January.

Swiss Days

Have you ever been to Swiss Days?

We had so much fun at Swiss days in Midway. Tons of cute CUTE stuff! We look forward and save up for this weekend every year. My dad isn't really much of a shopper at all but he has come last couple years and has enjoy spending time with his girls! Swiss days wouldn't be the same without him now;) If you have never been plan a girls trip for next year! My dad and Jayden watching the program:)

Busy fun week full of family fun!

Finally! I met Jaxon Lee last Tuesday night and he is Adorable! Hollie and Scott are SO cute with him and he is such a good baby. I had a sleepover in Cedar at the Lee's house that night. I'm so glad they're back in Utah! Paul picked me up in Cedar Wednesday morning Paul's mission friend got married in the Mount Timpanogo's Temple at 10:30. I love the Temple its thee best way to start off your day! This temple will always be one of my favorites because that's where Paul asked me to marry him:) Brings back the best memories!This is where he asked me to marry him! Pretty huh:)Acting it out again:) He even got down on two knees again... yes were a little weird but we have fun!

That night Av and Me played dress up with my cheer uniforms:) She's so cute!!!

Today we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Wardles to have a birthday BBQ for Bella and Hallee!

wish i could cross my eyes! Our family went Camping Friday night and Saturday. Av and Me were troopers and slept in the trailer with the guys and the wimpy girls went home;) We woke up at six a.m. to hang out in the truck while the boys went hunting Saturday morning. The plan was to sleep in while the boys went hunting but my Dad being the good Dad he is didn't feel good about us staying up in the canyon by ourselves so we went. She's really liking to take silly pictures so that's just what we did to pass some time:)I LOVE you Avia! I do have to say my dad wanted me try to get a dove and I missed both times! Sorry dad! Next time;)

Today was our Doctors appointment. I LOVE Doctor Thompson I just know I'm in good hands...and for me that is such a big deal to have a good doctor. I love to go in every month! I'm half way there this Friday! I CAN'T EXPLAIN HOW EXCITED I AM!!! I can feel him now and I love it! I already know I will miss it when he's here...Those of you who have been pregnant before you can agree is the best feeling. It makes me want him to come now so I can kiss and hold him all the time! BUT I know he's too little to come right now so I will continue to work on my patients and wait 20 more weeks. I'm having a hard time finding cute BOY bedding(of course there is a ton of cute girl bedding). Let me know if you know where I can find some! I want to get started on his room but I need to get bedding first! Thank You!

My camera was being crazy for a minute after I played with it for a minutes I took this picture of Paul to make sure it was working haha Can you tell he didn't know I was taking a picture of him? I sure do love him more than anything!!! This is probably the only picture of him NOT smiling. I LOVE YOU PAUL!!!
We're heading up north tomorrow to Pauls friends wedding. They are getting married in the Mount Timpanogos temple that's where Paul asked me to marry him! We haven't been back to that temple together since so I'm excited! Its such a pretty Temple! Then Swiss Days in Heber and Camping for the Holiday weekend! FUN WEEK!
