Better late than never!

Life has been so busy planning our wedding and working two jobs! But.... I'm loving it:) I have lots of pictures I want to post. Wedding plans are going...lots to do! I'm not from St. George so I don't know where to go for all the fun stuff for the wedding reception down here. I did get my dress Friday!!! I LOVE it and I can't wait to wear it! How lucky am I??? I went to down east with my friend on Thursday not really looking for anything cause I'm trying to save money for married life:) and I came across the PERFECT brides maids dresses!!! I was so happy I called everyone to tell them I had a MIRACLE happen! haha We're getting our engagement pictures taken this Saturday by Melissa Check out her website its so cute its momentsmatter.com! I'm really excited but I'm stressing about what to wear! Ah! If you have any ideas let me know!My parents came down this weekend to help with wedding stuff and to meet Paul's mom Judy and step dad Steve. They are VERY nice people so it went very good:) Paul started school on the 5Th! He's loving it:) ha ha and really loving the homework! I can't explain how lucky I am to have him in my life. He treats me like a queen even when Aunt Flow comes to visit and makes me real moody ha ha HE'S A KEEPER!!! I was looking at Julee's blog and she gave me a good idea to kinda review what happened in my life in 2008 *Lived in Orem met a lot of good friends there *Went to the dedication of the Rexburg Idaho Temple *Took an Amazing Institute class at UVSC *Went to the Brad Paisley,Rodney Atkins and Chuck Wicks Concert in Salt Lake *Worked at 2 salons in Orem *Went to the Sand Dunes for Easter *Went on a Cruise *Moved back to Sunny St. George *Went to the lake lots *Went to a friends Cabin in Pine Valley a few times *Went to Trapt Concert in Vegas *Went to a few BYU football games *Took a Institute class here in St. George *Started at a booth rent Salon(Kiss and Makeup) *My dad and me found a house to buy in St. George *My little brother left on his Mission to Hawaii *Received my Patriarchal Blessing *Met the Man of my dreams:) *Had one of the best Halloween's in a long time *Went to Motocross in Vegas *Went to Temple Square with my family *Watched Paul play flag football and basketball lots *Participated in Black Friday *Got a second Job at Fabulous Freddy's as a gas pumper *GOT ENGAGED *Talked to my brother on the phone Christmas day *Had a wonderful Christmas season:) *Had minor surgery on my neck new years eve

So someone(I'm not saying any names) got the crazy idea to send Madix and Jayden down the hill on a sled by themselves! It didn't end very good they tipped over Jayden ended up on top of Madix...As you can see Madix has the confused look on his face probably thinking why was my faced smashed into the snow(but didn't cry) and Jayden was so upset poor little guys!!

I think Paul tells the story better!!!

Paul and Me are hanging out at his moms house and I decided he tells the story better:) So I'm waking him up from his sunday nap to have him type up his side!
So the story begins... Keisha texted me on Monday the 22nd that she wants to hang out all day in provo. I asked if one thing we could do is baptisms for the dead at the mount timpanogas temple since that is one of the places we were talking about getting sealed. After receiving her text i made it a point that i wanted to officially propose so i 1. got the ring 2. asked her dad that night and ended up staying over at her parents house. On tuesday morning of the 23rd she came and woke me up, which is always way adorable! while sitting on the bed she asked " babe, what else are we going to do today besides baptisms for the dead". So i thought i would be sneaky and throw her for a loop. I said " we should go look at rings because i dont want to get one without you cuz i want you to have exactly what you want". Of course she quickly agreed.... point for me :) In actual reality i got a proposal ring the day before :) A crazy thought came to mind as we got to provo and i had to go to my room to change into my clothes for the temple... the thought was "sometimes she likes to humor herself and poke me in the side.. or what if she hugs me and feels the ring in my suit coat pocket??" so i started to freak myself out. I brought my little bag to put the christmas wrapped ring in and felt completely secure while we were driving from provo to american fork... then the BIG question.. " Paul, do you have your camera cuz we need to take a picture at the temple??" UH OH!! it was no where in any of my pockets and now i had to check my bag... and yep.. right where the wrapped ring was hidding is where the camera was... thank goodness im a sligh dogg and was able to manage getting the camera out without her noticing. When we pulled into the parking lot i snuck the ring into my pocket and was then beyond nervousness... As we walked towards the temple she put her arm around me and almost touched the wrapped box.... YIKES!!! After doing baptisms for the dead Keisha had to do her hair... THAT WAS A LOOOOONGG 25 minutes!!! When she came out i said " lets go take a picture out front" and since she LOVES pictures she agreed. After taking a picture i gave her a hug and she wanted to pull away quickly and one excuse was her bag was on the ground getting wet. Well i didnt let her go and told her " Keisha, i have a really sincere and heartfelt question to ask you" and to make sure she was ready i said " promise to give me only the honest truth?" and she agreed. I then got down on TWO knees, yep im proud of myself, two is always better than one and said not only will you marry me but "Will you marry me FOR ETERNITY!?!?!?!?" :) :) :) and thats my happy descriptive story!

Christmas has come and gone already!!! and I'M ENGAGED

Where should I start! I'm so behind!!! Paul and I made it up north on the 19Th! The roads were very good...Thank Heavens! I stayed at my parents house in Nephi and Paul stayed at his dad's house in Provo that night. The next day was the Lunt/Bench Christmas party. We had lots of fun sledding. Paul's first mission companion got married that day so he didn't get to come sledding but he made it back for Santa! HERE IS THE BEST PART ABOUT MY CHRISTMAS...THE DAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS EVE DECEMBER 23RD PAUL ASKED ME TO MARRY HIM! Paul and I went to the Mount Timpanogos Temple to do baptisms It was so awesome. The temple was so pretty. After we had this nice lady take our picture in front of the temple...after the picture we hugged and it was a extra long hug Paul asked if he could ask a question and I kinda laughed cause we're always asking each other questions. He said this is a serious question you have to promise you'll be honest...I said Yes you can ask me anything... still not seeing it coming! He got down on TWO knees(he says that means more ha ha) and asked if I would marry him!!!! The big day is March 13Th in the St. George Temple! I need addresses!!! I'm so excited! Okay back to the rest of my Christmas fun! The Jones Christmas party was at my parents house this year. Lots of fun! Josie and Kyle got me some HUGE hot lace panties ha ha my face was bright red when I open the box! ha ha Christmas day was great. My brother called around eleven he sounds so great and he is loving his mission!!! I miss him so much! One Christmas down One more to go!!! After talking with Jordan I went to Paul's dads to have dinner. We finally made it back to St. George Yesterday! Its always great to be home!!!! I hope everyone had a extra fun Christmas!!!!

The Forgotten Corals

Last night Paul took me on such a fun date... Dinner and Micheal McLean- The Forgotten Corals. Paul's been before a few times and loved it and wanted to take me. I loved every minute of it! I can't explain how good it was. Promise it was that good! The spirit was so strong. If you have never been I would suggest you go next year. I think the show is all sold out now for this year... Next year go!!! Thank you Paul for such a fun date. I love you... Thanks for treating me so good:) Life is so busy around Christmas I haven't been able to post about anything...after Christmas I'll catch up:) Paul and me are going up north tomorrow morning for Christmas not excited for the snowy drive but SO excited to see my family and meet Paul's dad. Hope everyone is having a Merry Christmas!!! p.s. Its snowing in St. George!!!

Snow in SUNNY St.George??

It snowed in St. George...Its not supposed to snow here that's why I moved here:) But it was kinda fun for a minute. I decided to take a picture to send to Jordan:) I'm not sure who's Isuzu Rodeo this was but it had the most snow!

So there's this boy....

A lot of people have been asking about who I've been dating. So here is a little about him. His name is Paul:) He's from St. George. Every where we go he knows someone:) He's working right now and will start school in January. He's excited. He's very clean and organized. He loves Basketball and any other sport, dancing. Anything outdoors, his family, Hawaii, his calling, institute,bowling, playing games,and going hot tubing:) those are just a few things he enjoys. He went to Honolulu Hawaii on his mission(the very same mission my brother Jordan was called to). We met at a fireside. Our first date was Oct. 28Th he took me line dancing! I have to admit It was my first time... I didn't do so good at all and he was really good!!!kinda embarrassing!!!haha We have a lot of fun together. With him there really is never a dull moment...if you know him you would agree. He treats me very good and is always here for me. He believes in me and helps me to be a better person. That's just a little about him. Just gotta love him:)

Black Friday Madness!!

I finally got time to down load pictures of the night before Black Friday! Every year the girls go stay at my Aunt Kristi's the night before. It was a lot of fun. We need to get together more often! We looked at ads until about twelve by that time Grandma Shirley, my Mom and Trent were ready for bed. So the rest of us girls stayed up and talked.... and laughed about everything:) I don't think Kristi and Mckel even went to sleep. I did ha ha I need my sleep or its bad news.We ended up getting to Kohl's at 4 and our day ended around six at night! haha we're crazy but its fun that way!!!
