Blind Date...

Paul and Me set our friends up on a blind date last night. On our way to pick them up we started talking about our luck with blind dates. Lets just say we both never liked them. Hollie do you remember when you tried to set me up on a blind date with your friend that was two heads shorter than me??? lol I knew you'd get a good laugh. Blind dates can be fun but MOST all of the blind dates we went on were terribly awkward!Funny to talk about now tho! If anyone has a funny or weird blind date story that would like to share please feel free I'm always up for a good laugh. If I ever set you up on a blind date and you hated every minute of it...please forgive me!!

This is Kacen and Karol:)

We picked Karol up and on our way to meet Kacen we promised her she'd have fun and that Kacen was a good, nice, cute guy. Our plan was to go dinner and line dancing. We all were pretty excited to go and we get there and its canceled for some play practice...Dang it! We all agreed to going to the movie The Blindside. VERY good movie! Funny thing about going to a movie is that when we picked Karol up we were talking about how blind dates can be and Paul said to Karol the worst blind dates are when you go to a movie and you don't get to talk..Then we end up going to a movie!! We got a lot of talking in at dinner tho.We hope you both had fun time!!! We did!!

Our weekend....

Lets just say my husband gets colds wayyy too often in the 8 months we've been married he's had probably 5 colds.He does take a ton of Vitamin C and Multi Vitamins but he still some how gets colds.He hates going to the Doctor I've tried to get him to go. I stay clear of him while he's sick so I don't get sick but last week he forgot to tell me he was feeling a cold coming on and I got it :( Worst part about it is I can't take anything. So Our fun weekend we had planned didn't happen BUT we had fun anyway just hanging out at home together. Paul's family are gamers and I'm slowly becoming a gamer:) We had a couple naps during the day on Saturday and when I have a nap during the day I can't fall asleep at night so we played cards until 2 a.m.! That is not like me. I think Paul was in shock! We were so tired everything became very funny I love those times when we just laugh at everything. Paul said to me Sunday as we were eating dinner for being sick this weekend it was a really fun weekend. I agree it was fun! This is a really random post but this our family journal and I wanted to write about our sick but fun weekend together:)This picture wont turn but this is our Phase 10 scores... Paul 415 and Keisha 40! I was so excited I had to take a picture...I'm thinking it will never happen agian! Paul cried himself to sleep lol just kiddin!

At 20 weeks I had no idea how big I'd be at 29 weeks as time got closer I started to wonder what I got myself into cause not just my belly has grown...I'm thinking he's bringing toys but I think they turned out cute!

I know I still have 10 more weeks but I'm Getting A Little Nervous for the giving birth part! How bad is it going to hurt???This email kinda gives me a little idea;)

A woman goes to her doctor who verifies that she is pregnant. This is her first pregnancy. The doctor asks her if she has any questions.

She replies, "Well, I'm a little worried about the pain. How much will childbirth hurt?"

The doctor answered, "Well, that varies from woman to woman and pregnancy to pregnancy and besides, it's difficult to describe pain."

"I know, but can't you give me some idea?," she asks.

"Grab your upper lip and pull it out a little..."

"Like this?"

"A little more..."

"Like this?"

"No. A little more..."

"Like this?"

"Yes. Does that hurt?"

"A little bit."

"Now stretch it over your head!"

WIDE awake @ 3:00 a.m.???

Yes I am.

I've been up since 3:00a.m. it is now 5:15a.m. Why am I awake??? I got up for one of my many nightly visits to the bathroom and couldn't fall back to sleep. I decided after laying in bed for an hour that maybe if Paul tickled my back it would help me fall back to sleep but that didn't work...I'm WIDE awake.We were going and going yesterday and I was so tired and excited to go to bed at 11:30 last night. Connolly had other things in mind like rolling around, kicking my ribs and poking my bladder. So I'll blog about how blessed I am:) It is November...Tis the season to be Grateful!

I'm so blessed to be born into the true church. To know that my Heavenly Father knows who I am and loves me no matter what. He never gives up on me. I know that I knelt at his feet before I came to earth. He has a plan for me. Sometimes I start to doubt myself becoming a mom but I know my Heavenly Father believes in me. Just knowing he is only a prayer away gives me so much peace. I know he listens to my prayers. I know I can one day return to him.

My handsome husband. How we found each other is still amazing to me. I followed my heart. For a couple of years I wondered where the heck my prince charming was! He was on his mission!! Good place to be huh:) I didn't give up and settle. I'm so grateful to my Heavenly Father for helping me through good and hard times that lead me to Paul. He was and is a anwser to my prayers.I can't explain how much I love him. He is an Amazing guy with the biggest heart. I never knew someone could love me the way he does. He is always here for me. Very hard worker! In my eyes there is nothing he can't do.The love that he already has for Connolly is so cute to me. I love you Paul Matthew!:) You never cease to amaze me!

My baby boy! What a blessed girl I am...To be able to be carrying my tiny baby around with me everywhere I go. I heard his precious heartbeat again yesterday its so reassuring to hear. He's healthy and kicking like crazy. I think we are in for it...He is a very active boy:) Every day I thank Heavenly Father for the chance I have to be a mom!

Family...I am who I am today because of the AMAZING family I have. A lot of things will change but we start and end with family:) My family helps me in so many ways. Their examples, their faith, their love. I can't thank them enough for what they do for Paul and me. I love the crazy people we are. There hardly ever is a dull moment. I love it! There is no place like Home!

Friends... We have great friends that I know would do anything to help us. I know Heavenly Father puts people in your life for a lot of reasons. I know no matter where life takes us we will always be so close to the friends we have.

Jobs. I'm so grateful that Paul has a job.. He has met a lot great guys at work that he looks up to a lot. I'm so grateful that I have a job and for the people I meet and become so close with through my job.

There are SO many things I am grateful to my Heavenly Father for I could go on for days but I think I'm finally getting tired so maybe I'll try to sleep for an hour and then head to Nephi for pictures...Hopefully I don't look too tired in the pictures;)

We should certainly count our blessings, but we should also make our blessings count.

We've made it to the Third Trimester!

October 31st

Wahoo!! We're almost there little guy! I am now 28 weeks!12 more weeks to go!! We're in the single digits we only have 84 more days to go!! Wow! Some days it feels like time is flying by and then other days I feel like time is dragging. I'm always thinking about him...

I wonder who he will look like-hopefully Paul!
I wonder if he'll have lots of hair-I've had bad heartburn so I'm thinking he will
I wonder if he'll be a good sleeper- he already keeps his mommy up at night cause he likes to kick moms ribs all night long:)
I wonder if he'll be a big baby- I hope he is
I wonder where I'll be and when I'll go into labor
I can't wait to hold him for the very first time:)
I can't wait to see him and Paul play together.
I can't wait to kiss him
I can't wait to hold his tiny hands
I can't wait to tell him the little piggy story on his little toes
I can't wait to look into his eyes and tell him how much i love him.
I can't wait to see him smile for the first time...even if it is just gas:)
I can't wait to take a million pictures of him
I pray I can be a good mom!

These are just a few things I wonder and can't wait for. I never thought just feeling him move around in my belly could bring tears to my eyes and put a huge smile on my face. He's getting so strong sometimes it kinda hurts but I still love it. Its reassuring to feel him moving around in there. This last month my belly has grown so much! The ''fun'' part is that its only going to get even bigger and more uncomfortable. Sounds fun huh;)He's not just kicking now it feels like he's rolling around in there. Being pregnant is amazing! Its amazing to me that our baby is in my belly growing so much everyday.

Here are a few things I've been experiencing this month...
-I'm usually cold all the time but the last couple weeks I've been pretty hot(we have had two fans going in our room at night poor Paul sleeps with three blankets and I sleep with one thin blanket:)
-Its harder to sleep at night, Its hard for me to sleep just on my left side, He kicks all night long my right ribs are getting a beating:) I'd rather be up feeding and holding him all night:)
-Sitting for long periods of time is getting uncomfortable

-Braxton Hicks

-A full bladder, always.

Being pregnant in my opinion is not easy but it is the most amazing thing and I am so grateful I am pregnant and for the experience it has been so far. We are blessed! I can't wait to be a mommy:)

I haven't said what his name will be on my blog yet but he will be named...

--Halloween Party--

We made our costumes this year and they turned out better than what I thought they would.I was a Oven, Connolly is the Bun in the Oven and Paul is the Baker/Bun Maker:)




Mallory and Dean had a Halloween Party at their house. It was a lot of fun! We played games, Carved sweet pumpkins, Ate a ton of yummy treats and delicious taco soup! Thanks for a fun time guys!
