Blessings...

Monday morning I went in to get Ellie out of her crib and I lifted her up just like I always do under her arms and she started to cry like she was in pain so I hurried and put her down in her chair and gave her a bottle. Every time I would pick her up or move her she would cry like it was painful. I would put her down to play with toys and she wouldn't move. We ran errands and I came home and put her down for her nap. When she woke up she still acted like she was in pain but even worse now. I put her in the tub and we were rushing around to get out the door to go get family pictures done. I told Paul she was in pain and I couldn't figure out if it was her shoulder or what it was but she wasn't herself and I could tell she was in a lot of pain. We were in the middle of taking pictures and every time you would move her she would cry and they put her on this couch and she almost looked like she was going to pass out or throw up. It scared me so bad I told them we'd have to come back on another day. I called her doctor and asked if I could bring her in and explained what had been going on with her and the nurse said that Dr. Wilcox would like to look at her as soon as possible. So I dropped the boys off at our place and went over to the doctors office. He looked at her and could tell something wasn't right. She usually is such a busy body and so happy. She acted out of it. She had a temperature of 102 and just kept getting hotter and hotter. It hurt her so much just to lay her flat on the table and to get her dress off. My heart was broken. Its the worst thing to watch your baby cry in pain and no one can figure out what it is that is causing it. He checked her out and figured out it wasn't her shoulder or collar bone. It was the
left side of her back that was in pain. They said they were going to catheter her for a urine test but when the nurse opened her diaper she started to pee(she NEVER does this so it was a miracle!) I was so glad the nurse had a cup in her hand just in case because she caught enough for the test. The test showed that her kidneys were good. The doctor came back in from making a phone call and said that they wanted us to take her to Primary Childrens Hosptial to run more test. I was already crying when we first got there but when they told me that I really lost it. My little lady wasn't moving at all she had sweat rolling down her body. I finally found a position that didn't hurt her while I held her. I said a prayer when the Dr. went to call Primary Children's to tell them we were on our way. I know our Heavenly Father was listening. I called my mom sobbing to tell her what was going on and the first thing she told me was her and my dad were on there way. Mckel offered to come get Connly which we were also so grateful for. While we were waiting for her we knelt down in pray and pleaded with our heavenly father that he would be with our little Ellie and that he could help her get better. Paul gave her the most sweet fathers blessing and then we were on our way. Paul drove as fast as he could thanks to Mikes help we found our way there. They had all our information and we got all checked in. My parents were there shortly after us. It was nice to have them there. We had no idea what test were going to be ran and what news were going to be getting. We tried to be positive but had so many things running through our minds. It makes you sick to see your baby in so much pain and not feeling good. They ran another urine test and had to catheter her this time. Poor girl hated that so much. Her kidneys were good again. Then they took her back for a xray. Paul and me went with, It was crazy to see how they get a xray of a tiny little baby. I asked the girl if everything looked right and she said I can't tell you the will have to read it. My heart sunk. I just wanted to know right then if everything looked OK. It took a couple hours for the results for that. They gave her some medicine and a miracle happened she started to feel a little better little by little. They finally came back to tell us the xray was great nothing was broken. And because the medicine was working that meant that nothing more serious was wrong with her. They said it was something viral that was causing so much pain and the fever. We watched a miracle happen. Honestly I've never thanked my Heavenly Father so much. I'm so grateful for the power of priesthood blessings and prayer! They wanted Dr. Wilcox to check her the next day. He temperature was still down and she was her happy self again. We actually had an appointment to get her shot done Tuesday but didn't feel good about giving them to her tell next week. We agreed.

She slept til almost nine next morning and when she woke up a little sad but I gave her a bottle and some medicine and she's been our happy little Ellie since.

When we went to get Connly from Mckels he didn't want to leave he was having so much fun. We caught them watching moving with Avia's barbies....at least they were taking the barbies on 4wheeler rides right!? haha

We are seriously so so grateful that prayers were heard and answered. So grateful that our baby girl is healthy again! We have so much to be thankful for!
