Mother's Day Weekend

Friday us girls went up to Orem for a girls night. We started off the night at Teppanyaki's for dinner and then we had plans to go get our toes done but we got out of dinner too late...

Mckel said she'd email me a picture of all of us at dinner 2 weeks ago so until she does this picture of her will have to do:) Mckel caught the chicken in her mouth! I think my mom caught hers in the eye haha

So instead of getting our toes done we spent hours at target...SO MUCH FUN. We laughed the whole night.

Saturday morning we headed to the Jarrett's Cabin to spend the day with the Lunt's. We hung out and talked, ate lots of food, danced, laughed and ate more food.

So I asked Scott to take a picture of my mom and me and look who decides to jump in! This is how we are most of the time-Crazy

My first Mother's Day
I forgot that I hadn't taken one picture from the whole day until we were about ready for bed! So sadly this is the only picture I got. I've found out what a mother really is in the last 4 months. There is nothing better than being a mom. It can be challenging at times. The first born is definitely the guinea pig. The love I have for Connly words can't describe. My first mothers day was a great day!

Another Year Older...

My birthday this year was pretty low key. We had big plans to go to Zion and some other things but we'd just got back from Cali and I was tired so I decided all I wanted to do is go to dinner and hang out at home. So that's just what we did. Paul surprised me and made this cake for me. Let me explain. On our drive home from Cali I was telling Paul about how I always shared a birthday cake with my grandpa Dave(I was born on his birthday)and how I missed sharing a cake with him since he has passed away. On the cake he wrote Happy Birthday Keisha and Dave. It made my day! Paul and Connly also gave me some sweet running shoes and and gift card to buckle. Just what I needed!I love them! Thanks for a fun and relaxing birthday!

CaLIFornIA

We took a little trip down to Long Beach to stay with Paul's sister Rachel and her little family. The drive wasn't bad at all. Connly did awesome...Thank goodness!So excited to go to Cali for his first time:)

When we got there we just hung out at their house. Later Rachel, Her friend Mercedes, and me went to target and shopped around then went to YOGURTLAND...it's honestly heaven in a cup. We got it twice while we were there. YUM. The next day we went to the Orange County Swap meet. It was a ton of fun. We really liked it and I found some cute stuff for real cheap! After the Swap meet we went to Laguna Beach

Paul was able to play a game of basketball on the beach. I should of taken the picture from the other side to get the ocean in the picture...Next time! He had a fun time.

Little tiny was pooped after a long fun day...The next day we went to Huntington Beach. We walked around to all the little shops then ate at ruby's on the Pier. Such a fun time! Sadly I only got ONE picture from this day but went back to their house and had a BBQ for dinner and Rachel surprised me with a birthday cake that she made! It made my night. Thanks so much!!

The Next day was sadly the day we had to come home. Before we headed home we stopped at the mall and shopped around with Rachel and Genny.

On the drive home Connly had his feet up like this most of the way. I think he found his feet:)

We seriously had such a fun time. We loved it! We did so many fun things and we can't wait to go back! Thanks Mike, Rachel and little Genny for making our trip so fun! We love ya!

Lately...

I'm behind on what we've been up to lately. We've been busy having fun:)

We had a BBQ at the Pool with Norm, Lisa and Cache it was a fun relaxing time.These little guys are so cute!


We're going to miss this little family right here so much when we move!!:(

Lisa is such a good friend and I'm lucky to have her as my friend. She is Beautiful inside and out. She's been an amazing example to me. I love ya Lisa:)

He LOVES his hands.

On different day we walked around the mall with Lisa and little Cache man. After Connly and me went and hung out at the park. It was such a nice day. Connly loves to be outside. I love being with my little guy every second of the day.

Paul's mom's husband had heart surgery so Rachel and baby Genny came to visit. Connly and Genny are a week apart. So much fun! They're cute little babies.
--Date Night--

Paul and I went to Fiesta Fun and raced go carts and hit some golf balls. Grandma Judy watched Connly for us. Thanks Judy! We had a fun time:)

Do you notice that Paul's ball is gone... Mine is still there! I missed the dang ball!

We picked little man up and went to dinner.

Once again his hands are in his mouth.

So excited to go to bed!
