I'm SO excited!!

Doctors appointment went great today!! Her sweet heart beat was strong. She's still measuring a week ahead. She's head down. I'm almost a 2 and 50%. YEAH! I know doesn't' sound like much but I wasn't to a one til the week of Connly's due date so I'm so happy about already being to almost a 2! He also told me that I can be induced at 39 weeks and that will be VALENTINES DAY. Crazy. I think we will shoot for the 15Th. That means our sweet baby girl will be here in 3 weeks! AH! Gotta get things ready!! Wish me luck! SO so SO so excited!!

We had Connly's birthday party Saturday. I got sick with a cold the day before and I wouldn't have been able to throw Connly such a fun party without the help of family! We had Pizza, smacked around the pinata, had cupcakes and ice cream then opened presents! Connly is one SPOILED boy! He loved all of his presents! Best part about his birthday party is that ALL his grandparents were there!! Paul's mom was able to come up from St. George and his Dad was in town this weekend so he was able to come so it worked out perfect! I wasn't fully there and totally forgot to give him his "big" gift...his bike! Forgot we put it in my parents closet so Connly wouldn't find it and after most everyone was gone a few of us were talking and my mom says did you give him his bike? and we all busted up! Seriously who forgets to give the birthday boy his most favorite gift!?! Dang it! Sorry little buddy! We went and pulled it out and he was SO excited about his big boy bike!! Thanks to everyone that made it! Its means the world to us!

Holy cow. My BABY is Two!? We've been busy today! Played at McDonald's for almost three hours. He LOVES it and doesn't ever want to leave. We discovered that the Provo McDonald's by the mall is cleaner and has lots of fun things last week so today he was more than happy when we pulled in to go "play". Since its his big day we stayed a extra long time haha. Papa and Grandma stopped by to see you while we were there. We then headed over to daddy's work to visit and of course dad had to get you out and let ya run around some more and shoot hoops! Dad is so proud of you and was telling everyone at work that it was your birthday and you would say you were TWO and hold up five fingers. Mom loves to watch you and dad run around together and laugh(dad is still a little boy at heart). While I was watching you two play I couldn't help but smile and think of this day two years ago. When our 8 pound 10 ounce little tiny boy after over 20 hours finally was in our arms! How proud we were that you were all ours and how perfect our baby was! I'll always remember that while I was getting taken care of your daddy never left your side and how proud he was with tears in his eyes and the biggest smile on his face! There is just nothing like bringing your baby into this world! Today we're even more proud of the boy you are and we still think your perfect in every single way! Mom has loved having her little buddy everywhere she goes. Of course there are the days that you take the house apart and know how to push mommy's buttons but there are WAY more days that I wouldn't trade for the whole world. I love that I get to be home with you and watch you grow and learn new things. You're personality is one of a kind! You keep us laughing and on our toes ALL the time. You don't stop for nothing you are on the GO! You love papa's trucks and have to go for rides in each one. You love to "shoot" with dad(shoot the basketball). You loved motorcyles and 4wheelers. You love to jump on your new big boy bed and the couches( mommy fears for your life and doesn't like when you jump on your bed and the couches) You have no fear. You're far from shy. You will not smile very often for pictures even tho you are a smiley kid! You have the biggest heart. You get sad if you see babies cry and when you've seen me cry you ask "you k?" and give me kisses. You love that you get "treat" after you go potty! I know that sometimes you go in there and get the tiniest drop out just so you can have a treat! You love to play with other kids especially all your cousins. You love to follow Avia around at grandma's. You still LOVE grean beans. You ask for "green bean" at almost every meal. Pizza would have to be your favorite meal! If you hear anything about pizza you say "I pizza". You call every dog Kui(grandpa's dog). You ask all day where daddy and papa are:) You get over excited when you hear dad's keys opening the door. You still wont watch Tv(too busy). If I'm up and doing stuff you like to tell me to "seat" (to have a seat). You still take a nap. You love bath time. You also love running away from mom... I think just to watch me chase you. You repeat everything we say. You love your "bang" (your play gun). You love to put on dad or moms shoes and tell us bye bye and head to the door. You love to "read" books. When we're driving in the car you like to point out all the trucks and lights. Your into having a kiss you better if you get hurt. You love going to nursery and when we pull into church you always say "church" real loud. When you wake up in the morning you yell mama, mom, mommy, daddy, avia, or papa. When I answer back you say "need out". Those are just a few things that are on top of my head that you do and like! Mommy loves you to the moon and back baby boy! I hope you always know how much you mean to me. Thanks for making me a mommy and teaching me so much about life! Love you Connly boy! Happy 2nd Birthday!!

Connly, You have been a real inspiration in my life for the past two years. You give me alot of movitivation to come home after work and school. Sometimes I don't feel like doing homework and just neglect it because i want to come home to hang out with you and mom! Some of the things that i love and remember most about you over the past year are: DANCING! you really are the king of dancing!, if music comes on you are boppin your head or shakin your hips, you are fascinated by dogs but take a while to warm up to them and get close enough to pet them (you don't ever pet them, but you do get close), you have learned so many new words and one of the funniest ones is "doughnut", papa Jones always takes the grandkids to the store to get doughnuts on saturday mornings when we are in nephi. Mom bought me season tickets to watch BYU basketball games and when you come with me you love to say "shoot" to have the players shoot the ball. The words you say are funny because of the way that you say them and the way your lips are shaped when you say them... at the basketball games i ask you to say "go cougars!" and you repeat it and it makes me laugh so hard. I gave you a new nickname that your mom doesnt really love it is "sass master", but i don't mean this in a negative way... i just think that you love to sass mom and i in your own little two year old way and it is actually quite hilarious to me!!! I am so proud that i taught you the word "Jesus" and where the picture of Jesus is on our fridge. I love when mom and i say its time to have a prayer and you walk to the couch, fold your arms and bow your head... you are a quick learner! You love to ride on four wheelers, shoot guns, shoot hoops, kick balls, jump on the trampoline, go for rides in papa's truck, you love to help with whatever mom and i are doing (example: dishes, hanging pictures on walls, fixing things around the house, doing laundry & painting with mom). Connly, you are such and handsome boy and I am so proud you came to mom and I. I am so proud of you, of all the people or subjects i could have picked to do a speech in my "public speaking" class, i picked you! I cant help but tell anyone and everyone who will listen all about my boy! We are thankful to have such a good boy to be the oldest in the family and to be a good example to the younger "future" children. I love you Connly and wish you a Happy 2nd Birthday! Love Dad

4 weeks to go baby girl!!

We are getting there! I can't really put into words how excited I am to have our little lady in my arms. I'm SO excited to see Connly with her. I'm excited for him to have a little sister and friend. I'm really SO so excited for everything. I started to kinda freak myself out about having two but you know I was nervous about having one and not knowing if I would know what I would be doing but it just comes and I'm praying that's how it will be with two. I have no doubts that it will be tough at times but I'm really excited for our little family to grow and to have one more little monkey around here! We've been busy getting ready for her to be here. I was getting anxiety about not being ready. With Connly the day after I found out it was a boy I felt like I got right on top of things and had his room all put together months before he arrived. This time around we were debating on moving to a bigger place or to stay where we are...we were kinda leaning towards moving so we'd have more room and she'd have her own room but we decided we like where we are and love our neighbors so we felt we needed to stay. So Connly and her will be sharing a room but its going to be cute and its coming together! I've been feeling pretty good. Heartburn is still in full force. My back has started to hurt lately(I don't remember it being like this with Connly) Maybe its from packing Connly around and her;) I've been a little emotional lately which I don't enjoy:) but all together I'm doing great and I know these next four weeks are going to fly! Next doctors appointment this Wednesday! Hearing that sweet heartbeat never gets old! I'm so excited to have her in my arms!!

This boy LOVES bubbles and bath time!! He is a little fish and hates to get out! He likes to put his face in the bubbles and make us laugh. Daddy is the one that baths him at night...I love to listen to them in there laughing or daddy telling him not to splash him haha. His new thing is to pour water over his head...I think its scares him but at the same time he thinks it's funny! hahaha funny boy!

Potty Training!

Two weeks ago I was talking to Mckel on the phone and Connly kept coming up to me saying he needed to poop(sorry you don't have to read this post its all about going to the bathroom)! He's been doing this for awhile but honestly I thought he was too young to start potty training but I took him to the bathroom and he went just like he's done before. I then told Mckel that I was going to start potty training! She was really supportive about it...and he was ready(I didn't want to force him)SO we went for it! I told myself if I started I wasn't going to stop. We haven't! The first day we were reading books on the toilet all day it seemed like. Second day was hell and I wondered what the crap I got myself into. Since then he's done AWESOME! I couldn't be more proud. We made it through the first two weeks. He has caught right on. We've had a few little tiny pee accidents but never a poop accident(LUCKY for me and knock on wood). This week he's been doing so good at telling me he needs to go where as last week I was just putting him on the toilet every 30 minutes. We are getting this little guy! Mckel has been my support during this and has answered all my crazy questions! I can't thank her enough! Happy two weeks without diapers!!;) Connly mommy and daddy are so proud of the little boy you are!!! You're going to be TWO in 5 days?!!?! Where did the time go!?!

This year last minute we decided to go to St. George to spend the Holiday with Judy this year. It was fun and relaxing. Just us four! Different from being with a ton of family but so worth it to spend time with grandma Judy! Hard part was missing out on going shopping with the girls!! Paul was a good samaritan and went with me...and did surprisingly good for shopping through the night! My feet were going to fall off by the time we were done!!Connly had a sleepover with grandma while we were out being crazy! Thanks to Kolb and Whit for letting us sleep at their house and thanks to grandma Judy for letting us come spend some time with her!!

The first snow we got! Connly wasn't sure what to think of it at first. He didn't hate it but wasn't going to let of the sled for nothing. The sled tipped on its side and he kept holding on(we got a good laugh). We haven't got much snow this winter! We're loving it! Sad that we haven't been able to take Connly tubing but the weather has been crazy warm and we will not complain!

Day TEN

I'm so thankful for my brother's! Jordan and me were the only ones left in the house with my parents when my sisters left and went to college and we became pretty close. I'm thankful for the time I got with him and how we could talk about anything. I was a senior when he was a freshmen and I'll admit it I was a little protective;) I think all of us sister have always been pretty protective of him(isn't that what happens when your the only boy with three older sister's?) Before his mission and during his mission he was always checking in on me and making sure I was doing the right things and he would try to talk some sense into me with the guys I dated lol Its pretty funny to look back on now! Now he's a married man and doesn't have much time for his sisters;)just teasing!! He's going to be a daddy and I'm so happy for him and Karolann. I also have two other brothers that I'm SO thankful for! Mike and Jaren...they're the two big brothers I thought I'd never have. Mike has been in the family for over 11 years and Jaren has been in the family for over 7 years! It feels like they've always been apart of our crazy family tho! I'm not sure if I could count how many times I've cried to mike on my parents front porch or on the phone and he was always there to help me get through whatever it was. He's helped move me a million times! I can tell he really loves Connly as one of his own and he'll never know how much that means to me. Jaren and Mandee lived in Cedar when I lived in Cedar my first year of College and he was always there to help. He also helped us with the big move north and we couldn't of done it with out their help. He is always there to help Paul and me with our cars and usually helps us after a long 12 hour day at work! It would take me years to type everything these guys have done for me! I'm thankful for our relationship! I love these three amazing guys so much and they will never know how much they mean to me!! They never read blogs so probably wont see this but I hope they know I'm always here if they need me!!

Days Seven, EIGHT and 9

7-I can't really put into words how thankful I am for the chance I had to carry Connly and have to carry our baby girl right now. I'm SO very thankful for healthy pregnancies. What a blessing these babies are!

8- I'm thankful for the roof over our heads. It might not be my dream apartment/home but its clean and its just what we need right now.

9- This might seem little but its huge to me...I'm SO so thankful for my camera and pictures. Some days I'm pretty sure I take too many but I've heard you never regret taking a picture in the end. I know my brothers get sick of the camera in every one's faces all the time but I know one day they too will be thankful for them! haha Connly has changed so much in the last almost 2 years(my BABY will be TWO in January?) and I'm so thankful for the pictures I have taken and the ones I took so I can look back and remember those special times in our life. Its fun to look back at any old picture don't ya think?

Day Six

I'm thankful for FRIENDS. Friends that I grew up with, Friends that I met when I went to College and Friends that I've met recently! I know that friends growing up are a big part of who you become. I'm so grateful I've been blessed with great friends to grow up and learn with. Girls and Boys. Its hard to stay in touch with every one's crazy busy lives but its still fun to get together and catch up when we do! I want to do better at keeping in touch!!

Day #5

I'm thankful for the time I get to spend with my mom and sisters!! I feel like since I've moved up here we've become even closer.We spent the day together today while Paul and Connly were spending the day with his dad while he was in town and all the other guys were out hunting. So we had a fun girls day going to Chan's baby shower together, having lunch and sewing lessons from mom! We are making Christmas table runners and even if the sewing machine hates me it was still fun! Sewing is actually relaxing(after you figure out what your actually doing)! I'm one lucky girl to have them in my life! We ripped each other's hair out, Mckel might of been a little embarrassed of me and Mandee might of even broke a stool over my head growing up but we made it through and we are still best friends and no matter how old we get we'll always need our mom!!

Today I'm so thankful for babysitters:) All you mom's out there know you can't leave your kids with just anyone. Being in Provo not knowing a ton of people we use to never really go with out him. We decided its nice to go once and a while and just have time to talk and spend a few hours just us. With Mckel and Karol living up here I'm so grateful that they are always welling to watch him! With Mcke being at the end of her pregnancy and then having a brand new little one I don't want to add another for her:) so we'll give her a little while before we start bugging her again;) Connly also moved in with the Stowells for 8 days while we were gone and I didn't worry one minute! I met my neighbor Claire and fell in love hahaha She honestly is one of the nicest girls you would ever meet. Connly LOVES her and her husband Ryan and its a nice feeling to leave and not worry. So for the last couple dates she's been my go to girl! I'm seriously so thankful for them! Also my sister Mandee and my mom are always always there to watch Connly while I do hair in Nephi and that has been so nice of them and I couldn't thank them enough. So today and everyday I'm thankful for babysitters that watch our little man for us!!

Today I'm thankful for the jobs we have! Paul's job was a answer to our prayers and I'll always be grateful to Matt for helping him get the job! The plus side to his job is he's getting a foot in the door for when he is done with school, he works right across from Uvu and can walk to his classes, he gets Saturdays and Sundays off to spend with us! His job in St. George he had crazy hours and he was never able to be home with us so its been a nice couple years to see him more than 2 hours a day! I'm also thankful that I get to do hair here and there and take Nixon three times a week. I have had the thought of going back to work in a salon but when I really stop and think about it there is no where I'd rather be than here raising our little guy!

She's getting bigger and so am I! I'm glad she is but not so glad that I am! This time around I know how hard it is to get that baby weight off but man are they so worth every pound! I'm 24 weeks and feeling great...other than the heartburn! I had my 24 week appointment today and there is nothing better than hearing that tiny little heartbeat! I'm feeling her all the time now. Paul and Connly love to feel her move too! I feel like I'm carrying her lower than I carried Connly. Any kind of Juice gives me bad bad heartburn and I end up throwing up. Its getting harder to bend over Connly's crib to put him down for the night. That's all I can think of for right now! We're so excited for February to come:) We sure do love this sweet little lady growing inside me!

Today I'm thankful for my FAMILY! Today has been one of those days where my patients is running low but I really am SO thankful for my handsome boys and my tiny baby girl. I would be so lost with out them. They keep life fun! Families are Forever!!

Holy cow time is flying! I wanna join in on all the fun and tell you something every day this month that I'm thankful for! First I'm SO thankful for our Heavenly Father. EVERYTHING I have been blessed with I have him thank. I wouldn't have the life I have without him. He's blessed me with so much. He's been by my side through hard times and the good times. He never gives up on me even when I want to give up on myself! Belonging to the Church of Latter Day Saints is a huge blessing!! I have a lot to work on but I know if I try my hardest I will be able to get back to him! Happy November!

Halloween was so much fun this year! Connly seriously loved it! Nothing beats watching your kid have so much fun! He could not believe how many people were giving him TREATS! One of his favorite (over used) words is Treat so when people were giving him all kinds of treats he couldn't believe it! First house was Grandma and Grandpa Gary's house!

Little Family Trip to the ZOo!

Saturday morning our plan was to go get stuff for our halloween costumes but we didn't follow our plan at all we had fun instead! Trevor's wife Kay invited us to come watch Trevor finish his half marathon. He's been to war for I think a year and just got home around a month ago. We were so excited to see them and meet their precious little baby girl! Wish they would move to Utah...Idaho is too far away!;) We were pulling away and Paul asked where we were going next and I said the Zoo! Not knowing he would be all for it. So we headed to the Zoo! When we got there all the kids were dressed up and trick or treating I was kinda sad that Connly was the only little guy not dressed up but it was still so fun to see him get excited to see all the animals! We had a lot of fun!

Paul's been so excited for their games to start. Saturday night we braved the game with our wild little man. He's never been good at holding steal for very long so I kinda knew how it would go. It was fun to have him there but I was getting anxiety that the people around us were going to get mad. He was having fun get up on his seat then down over and over again! So Paul took us home at half time and he went back to the game and I put Connly down for the night. Having season tickets I wasn't too sad about missing the second half. We're going to have a lot of fun going to the games!

Town Hall Ward Halloween Party

Our ward had a fun Halloween party and trunk or treat! I was stuck in traffic taking dinner to the Stowell family so I talked Paul into getting Connly in his costume and painting his face. He wasn't really excited about it but he did it! They went over to the church and had yummy chili, played a few games, and chased our wild man around 90% of the time. I made it right in time for Trunk or Treating! Connly was daddy's first little trunker treater!

I think Paul did a great job painting his face and spraying his hair! His hair went Curly sue because it was wet when he sprayed it and he only did the top half cause it was cold coming out haha:) Thanks for being a good sport Daddy!

Connly boy went number 2 in the toilet for the first time! I had a proud mama moment! He's been coming up to me for a couple months telling me he needs poop or stink so I take him in the bathroom and I either didn't keep him on there long enough or didn't get him there fast enough but this time out of no where like all the other times he came up to me and said "I poop" and pointed to the bathroom door. So I ran with him in to the bathroom and he he pushed a little and said "all done" and there it was his first poop in the toilet!!! Mommy cheered and he joined it and clapped with me:) He was sure excited to flush the toilet! I couldn't believe it! My BABY is getting big! I don't want to rush him into potting training because I've heard bad stories but if he's wanting to then I'm all for it! Good Job little guy!! Doesn't he look cute in his big boy unders that grandma Judy gave him!

Sweet little Presley made us wait and wait for her to make it here safely but oh is she SO worth it!! We couldn't be more excited and in love! Look how cute she is!! Mckel is doing great! I'm so proud of her all through her pregnancy she never complained even when she was 2 weeks past her due date and even all through labor she didn't complain one time! She's so strong and such a trooper! Makes me SO excited for our little lady to get here!!

Paul looks cute & I look like a goober all bundled up! haFirst things first we have a couple people to thank for our date night to the BYU game Saturday night. My parents have season tickets and were both sick with colds so they weren't feeling up to being in the cold weather so they offered us to take their tickets. It was just a couple hours before the game and I wasn't sure if we could find someone to take Connly. About an hour before the game our awesome neighbor and friend Claire text saying she could. Connly loves her and she is SO good with him and I don't worry one bit when he's with her. So thanks to my parents and Claire we were able go and have a fun time! The game was actually a really fun game and they won! That make things even better. Rise and Shout:)Paul got us some hot chocolate and I was really hoping that this pregnancy it wouldn't give me heart burn but sure enough I was on fire by the end of the game! p.s. Paul is trying to grow a beard for his Halloween costume...soooo weird to see him all scruffy!

Happy Fall Y'all

Saturday it was a little cloudy/rainy but we still wanted to get out and do something fun. We planned to go to Hee Haw Farms but it was closed cause of the weather so we took Connly to a little pumpkin patch to let him pick out a pumpkin. Last year he was still pretty little... This year he started throwing the pumpkins around... he must of thought they were balls lol. He wouldn't look at the camera for nothing. We're loving the fall weather! Love the time we get to spend together!!

20 Weeks-Half way there!!

I've been telling Paul for probably a week that I'm almost half way there and have about drove him nuts lol. Monday we got to see our little lady again for our 20 week ultra sound. I love seeing her and how much she's grown. At this point she seems to be a little more calm than Connly. That's not hard to do but for now she isn't getting too crazy in there. The last couple times we've seen her she's had her hands up by her face and legs all curled up to her belly. She looks comfy! Doctor Ludlow said everything looks great. All her little parts are there and growing how they should. We're very grateful for that. Connly came with us to the Ultra sound and was a good little man and was pretty patient other than at the end he wanted to go and kept pulling my hand while I'm still laying there saying lets go. His world might be shook a little in 5 months!;) The last couple weeks have been good. My belly is popping out more and more it feels like every day. Still feel like I could have Jimmy Johns, Subway or Cafe rio everyday but I don't. Just every other day;) JUST KIDDING. I'm feeling her more and more every day. I love it. I'm not loving the heartburn tho! I'm having to go pee 250 times a day now and feel thirsty all the time(reason why I go 250 times a day?)I've actually stayed in control with the shopping. I've got her little stash building but I haven't gone too crazy yet. Paul is proud. For the last three weeks or so I've been getting bad headaches(more like migraines) almost 2-3 times a week. This week I haven't got one so lets hope that I wont be getting those any longer. Other than that things have been going great. The weather has been nice to go for little walks. Love this time of year!! Here's to the next 20 weeks!!

Ever Since the fire destroyed the Provo Tabernacle and our Stake Center on Dec. 17 we've wondered if the church was going to restore it. Today we found out that it will be the new Provo temple! How awesome to have a Temple one block away! We couldn't be more excited! It was so fun to go to Stake Conference at the Tabernacle. It was so pretty inside. It was so sad to see it on fire.

How awesome is this picture? Today the president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced six new temples during the morning session of the faith’s 181st Semiannual General Conference.
President Thomas S. Monson said the Church will build temples in Paris, France; Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo; Durban, South Africa; Barranquilla, Colombia and Star Valley, Wyoming. The Church will also rebuild the historic Provo, Utah Tabernacle – which was heavily damaged by fire in December 2010 – and convert it into a temple.We're SO excited!!

Park City

We needed a little getaway and have been wanting to go to park city all summer but never made it up there. So we did it! We packed up Friday and when Paul got off work we were off. When we got there we got summer dinner and went back to our Hotel to swim. It was so much fun. The pool was a little cool but they had two different hot tubs one was real hot and the other was just warm(perfect) and it was big enough for us to play around in.

Look at those feet!! He still loves bath time! Saturday morning I woke up to Connly talking to me like I'm the baby. His pack and play was on my side of the bed and I could hear him waking up but I kept my eyes closed and next thing I hear is him saying Hi and jabbering to me how I talk to him in the mornings haha! It made my day. We got ready and headed out to do some shopping!! We found some real good deals! The boys don't love shopping but I think they had fun! Just being together is what we wanted to do! Can't wait to go again!

The Big 24!

Yesterday was such a fun day! I love birthdays...One day out of the year that is ALL theirs. A day to make them feel special:) Paul turned 24 and Madix turned 4! Connly and me started our day off by getting Pauls favorite treats and snacks and some balloons to take to him at work. Connly scared himself and me to death on our way he popped a balloon and we both about had heart attack. lol Paul was in a meeting so we made it quick. Connly loves to go visit Paul at work especially with treats and balloons!

We then went home to put Connly down for his nap while I made a cake decorated the house. For some reason blowing up the balloons seriously was so hard and when Connly woke up he popped about 10 of them before Paul made it home. Paul made it home and we(well mostly me and Paul sang a little to himself lol) sang happy birthday and watched him open his presents:) He got some sweet gifts this year his favorite was probably Season Tickets to Byu Basketball. They play Dixie state this year preseason I think and we're excited to see that game. We use to go to Dixie games all the time when we lived down there.

We tried to get a little family picture:)We left to go pick up his season tickets and then went to eat at Cafe Rio:) in Spanish Fork on our way down to Madix's birthday party at grandma and grandpa's house. Seriously look how cute his cake is!! None of us wanted to eat it...It was too cute!! Birthday Boy Madix*Random picture. Connly was so excited to have cake he was ((trying)) to wait patiently for me to get him a plate I tried to take a picture of him but it blurred him out. (I guess I need to start learning how to use my camera)Oh my was he excited for his "treats"! Look at that big bite!Mckel threw Madix such a fun birthday party! Being 39 weeks pregnant and all! She is a trooper she is going none stop. We had such a fun time and Connly was in heaven playing with Madix's new toys. Madix was so good to let him play with them. It was written all over Madix's face that he was having so much fun!! Thats what its all about:) I forgot to get a picture of everyone there. Its always fun to see Grandma Donna, Grandma Shirley and all the Stowells.

I'm so grateful for Paul and everything he does for our little family. He is seriously one of a kind. I'm lucky to have him!! Connly and me tried to make it a fun day for him!! Because he deserves it:)

Venting a little....

Some days I have zero patients. I feel like with this pregnancy I'm losing my patients with everything. Myself, My house(I gave up on picking up toys a month ago), Paul being done with school(couple more years), Living in a shoe box, Connly's little tantrums, mostly just everything it feels like. Sometimes I get stuck in a rut I guess you would call it. Its all about my attitude. I need an "attitude adjustment" like my mom use to tell us kids! I really feel like I need one. Starting today I'm going to be better! Take every day one at a time and not wish time away. These are the days we're going to look back and miss or laugh at(I've been told this many times). I just want to be better! I need to remember why we're really here and what our purpose here on earth really is. Life really is so good...Look at that smile. Love it more than anything!!

Labor Day Weekend- 2011

This is one weekend I look forward to every year because of SWISS DAYS. We love it! We didn't get any picture but we were there and we had fun! There are SO many cute bows and head bands it gets a little dangerous. It was crazy for me this year to shop for girl stuff. Saturday we had plans to go up the canyon and ride but the first BYU game was on so our plans were put on hold. Sunday after church we headed up to Franks Flat/Levan Canyon to make a fire and just hang out and get out of the house. Avia riding all my herself!

My little know how to tip em back(its not a good thing and we blame grandpa Gary for starting him so young;)Eating a little dirt off the tires...Honestly he tried to get every last bet out of every ones drink!Monday we headed out to the lake for the last time this summer...It was cloudy and of course windy but we still had fun watching the kids play in the water and sand. I didn't get any picture but Karol let me take a few of Connly so ill have to steal those from her. After we got back before heading home the boys had to help grandpa mow the lawn!:)What a fun weekend!!

16 weeks!

These 4 months has actually gone pretty fast. I still have tired days but I think that just comes with being pregnant and chasing a one year old around(sometimes 2 when Nix is here)! I'm just in that "chubby" stage. I kinda get light headed when I do hair and I don't remember feeling like that with Connly.This time around I've kinda known what to expect and its been nice. I've started shopping for girly stuff and its seriously been so fun!! Can't wait to start feeling our little lady move! That's something I was told I would miss and I really did so I'm excited to start feeling her. Something that is really fun is when I point to my belly and say baby Connly points to it and says "bebe" Its so cute! I think Connly is going to have so much fun with his little sister. Can't wait to see them together:) I look pretty big in this picture. I feel like Im showing faster this time around. He loves his boots. He's put a lot miles on them! Sometimes he can't decide which ones to wear so he wears one of each! Its funny to hear him say "Boots!" Makes me laugh everytime. I do understand that he looks a little homeless in this picture no pants and all. Most of the time this is his look when we're at home. He enjoys running around in his diaper and boots!!

Its' a GIRL!!!

We found out Monday night.My AMAZING friend Tana that told us with Connly was able to get us in again for a sneak peek!! I can't even explain how excited we are!! I can't even thank her enough!! Paul thought for sure it was another boy(but is SO excited its a girl). Some days I thought it was boy and then other days I would think it was a girl. I had a few dreams about having a girl but I know a couple people that have had dreams about having a boy or girl and their dreams weren't right. So when Tana was trying to get her to open up her legs she kept saying come on little miss and then she'd kinda correct herself and we'd laugh and then I spotted the dots right before Tana said...It looks like your having a girl! We were in shock! A girl!!! For some reason I thought I'd never get a girl! Kinda weird I know. I can't even put in into words how excited I was and still am! We left the hospital and I started to cry. I think finding out what your having makes things more real! I can't believe I'll be a mama of two! I'm a little nervous at the same time to have two! I've heard both its easier with two and others say its harder! We shall find out in 6 months! We went to Cheese Cake Factory to eat after to celebrate. We were on cloud nine! Then we walked down to Carters to buy our first girly item!:) Sadly I didn't find anything I loved but don't you worry Swiss days is Friday! Paul's worried sick about me putting us in debt...I'm a little worried to Girls clothes are so cute!!! Bring on the shopping!!!;)

These boys are my whole world. Their the ones I love thee very most. Paul starts school again Monday. I know he has enjoyed his 2 weeks off from school. Sometimes I feel like I don't give Paul enough credit. He works hard for our little family. I get to stay home and raise our little man. While he goes out and works full time and goes to school. Then comes home and helps me with our wild little man. I couldn't ask for a better husband or dad for our kids. Don't get me wrong there are days when we can drive each other nuts. I think that's just life. We both can't wait for him to be done with school. 2 more years! Seems so far away but really I think it should go by pretty fast. Maybe not fast enough tho;) Connly is my little buddy. Where ever I go he goes. His personality is getting more crazy and fun every day. I hope he'll be my little buddy forever even when he gets to the age that moms aren't that cool anymore;) I've got a lot of catching up to do on my blog but today I just wanted to write a little about my boys:)

Back to School Bbq!!

Grandma Judy and Grandpa Stephen came up for a few days. It had been 6 months since Connly had seen her! We need to make it down to St. George more often that is for sure!! We loved having her here. She spoiled Connly with toys, shirts and a new movie! Thanks Grandma!! Sadly my camera went dead and I only got two pictures! I'll have to steal some from Judy she took lots. We went to dinner Thursday night and Friday after Paul got off work we went to Trafilga in Lehi. Connly got to ride most of the rides and had so much fun! Then to dinner and ice cream to end the night! Thanks for coming up we had a lot of fun!!! We miss you already!

Mal was reading this book on our way to Nashville and said she liked it and then I heard from a few more people that it was a good book. I'm not a huge reader but when I find a good book I can't put it down. I bought it Tuesday and finished it Friday night I think that's the fastest I've ever finished a book. If anyone is looking for a good book to read The help is such a good book! If you have already read it you know its good and we should go to the movie together when it comes out;)

18 Months!

My baby is 18 months old! He is learning so much and says a new word almost every day and it shocks me and makes me so happy. I would be lying if I said all the words he's saying make me happy...He's been saying No so much lately. WE are working on not saying that. I was so confused of where he picked it up but then Paul helped me realize that I'm always saying "No No No" to him during the day cause he's always up to something he shouldn't be:)I guess I need to start using a new word.He's still his busy little self and still has one speed. Pulls the funniest little faces. He keeps us on our toes and makes life so much fun!! We love you Connly so So SO much!!! My friend Rachelle took his pictures and he would not smile for nothing. I was jumping around like a crazy person and actually came home sick cause of all the jumping around. Once we got home he kept saying "Cheese" to me cause that's what I was saying to him while getting his pictures taken. He was all smiles when we got home. Little stinker!

We've Got Another Bun In The Oven!

Friday June 17th I took a pregnancy test. It was positive! Paul was at work and I didn't have much time to come up with a cute way to tell him when he got home! I ran to Shirley's bakery to pick up some Cinnamon rolls. Came home made a little note to go with it. I was SO excited for Paul to get home so I kept texting asking him if he was on his way home. I'm sure he was real happy about that. I don't usually do that so he was wondering why I kept asking. Of course on the day I have exciting news there was a wreck on the free way and he got home a little later than normal. He walked in the door and I was trying so hard to not give it away I told him I made him a treat it had just got done and it was cooling down in the oven I asked if he could take it out for me. He said Oooo what did you make!? I told him its a surprise:) He opened the oven and didn't even take it out he just read the paper and of course I'm peeking around the corner to see his reaction and he says Are you serious? Awesome! I think its safe to say We're SOOO excited! We told my family the next day! haha With Connly we waited to tell them and we couldn't wait this time! We took the Cinnamon rolls and note down and while the family was outside eating I gave it to my mom. They're so happy for us!! Thank goodness for supportive family and friends!! This week I'm 11 weeks. I felt great until about 7 weeks and it hit me like a bag of rocks. The constant Nausea and throwing up. Not fun. Hopefully this part ends soon! haha I did get medicine for it but it puts me right to sleep. I can't be sleeping while trying to take care of Connly:) We're SO excited to add another little little one to our family!! Connly and this one will be a tiny bit over two years apart! My due date is February 21st:)

Sometimes Crazy things happen at the park!!

I'm learning that CRAZY mean things happen at the park. We took Connly to the park a couple weeks ago and I was hanging out in the shade watching Paul walk around with Connly. I heard Connly start crying and Paul start to walk my way I asked him what happened thinking maybe he fell down but right away I could tell it was something else cause his cry was real. Paul said in a really mad voice look at his arm. WOW. Some little kid walked up to Connly while Paul was standing right by him and bit down hard on Connly's arm hard. Paul said him and Connly were in shock. He tried pulling the kid away from Connly but he wasn't letting up! His teeth were pulling Connly's skin away from his arm(does that make since?) Anyways to make a long story short the mom was no where to be found. We had to leave the park right then cause we were so mad! I'm also learning that some parents don't watch their kids... so so sad. Poor little mans arm was bruised for a good week! I took a picture of his arm about 2 hours after we got home. I couldn't believe the mark that little kid left.

Nashville-Music City USA!

We FINALLY did it. Keena moved to Nashville after we graduated high school and for years we talked about going and staying with her but never did. I can't remember how it came about but we got our flights months in advance and things were sit in stone. Those months before flew and it was time to finally go. Mal and me met Jess and Kati at the airport on July 27Th to fly out that afternoon. Our flights didn't seem too long we had lots to talk about. When were about to land in Nashville looking out the windows it really looked like a ton of broccoli ...The trees are so green and big. We did about everything there is to do in Nashville and most all of it was for free. Keena got us free passes. It worked out great. Thanks again Keen! To be continued....

Friday night we asked our cute neighbor Claire to watch Connly while Paul and I went on a date to the Spanish Fork Rodeo with Casey, Kristen, and Casey's Parents. It was a really good Rodeo. I think I'm all rodeo'd out for the year!!;) We have lots of fun with Casey and Kristen and can't wait for their big day!! They're perfect for each other!!

It goes by way to fast! As always its such a fun weekend. It never lets us down. Its none stop family and fun. This year was a little different. Connly is big enough to ride the little kid rides!!! This summer I'm starting to realize my baby isn't a baby anymore!! He's keeping up with the "big kids"! Thursday we didn't go to the Rodeo we went out to dinner and then headed to have some fun at the Carnival. I thought Connly would only be able to go on just a few but he was able to go on almost every one of the little kid rides! He had so much fun and was loving every minute of it. You could tell he was taking it all in. I was the Crazy mom running around taking a million pictures. I seriously love being a mom it makes life so much more fun!

This one made me a little nervous cause he goes up pretty high and I was a little nervous about him standing up or bailing off! I'm happy report he was a good little man and stayed put:)

When Connly gets tired he gets silly or mad. This night he got silly and was attacking Grandma! He keeps us laughing!

Friday we went down to the shops on main(Connly and me were a little late cause he needed a nap) Then it was time for the Parade. Here we are waiting patiently for it to start.

Our favorite part of the parade was Av on the Mini Drill Diesel!

Little Dax made a cute cowboy too!Grandpa Ted was recognized that night at the rodeo. He served 23 years on the Rodeo Committee they said some really nice things about him and my grandma made us all cry. He said something that stuck with me he said that Grandpa had the best seat in the house this year! How true is that! Grandpa Ted was the best lookin cowboy in town! We miss him very much!!Connly Loved the famous Rodeo burgers! The only time Connly would hold still longer than 2 seconds was for the motorcycles!

He was so tired by the end of the rodeo Paul took him on the carousel and he started to fall asleep while on the ride. Right after he was OUT on my shoulder. I carried him around as long as I could then we headed home.He was so out that when we got home he stayed asleep while we got him in his pj's haha this picture makes me laugh....we have one long little man!

Saturday Morning we headed to the Lake and I think these pictures can speak for themselves...The lake is our FAVORITE!!!

Saturday night we had the cutest girl in Nephi to watch our kids and we had date night at the Rodeo! It was so fun! I forgot my camera:( but Karol had hers so I'll have to steal the pictures from her!! What a fun weekend!! I love Summer!!! So busy but so fun!

Saturday we had so much at the Nephi Park for the Annual Carnival. Connly was old enough for the little rides this year. He had so much fun and we had so much fun watching him! Paul played in the basketball tourney again and had a lot of fun. We always stay for the good ole Auction! 29 years ago my Dad asked my mom to marry him at the Auction:) We missed Grandpa Ted this year. Av was Grandma's little sidekick and would run and get grandma snow cones like grandpa always would. I thought that was pretty cute!

What a fun day full of Snow cones, Rides, Family, Bbq, and Fireworks!!
Monday the 4Th Paul, Dad and Jaren left Nephi around 4:30 AM to go fishing at Strawberry. Paul says he had a blast! When they returned we headed to the Lake for some fun! It was perfect til we were leaving and a storm came in! It got a little crazy! We lived tho and had some good laughs on the way home!:) We were going to have a BBQ but it was pouring rain and to make things even better the power went out so we had a candle lit dinner...hot dogs! So romantic!;)

Shirley Sharks Girls Weekend:)

Kristi picked Mckel and Me up on her way to Nephi to pick up grandma and my mom and then we were on our way to St. George for our annual Girls Weekend. Every year my grandma and all her sisters plan a girls weekend for all the girls in their families. This year we went to St. George. I think it was actually my first time attending. I'm so glad I did it was a blast!

On our way out to Gina's we pulled up to the stop light and the car had bird poop ALL OVER it was pretty sick!The next day we got up had some breakfast outside and talked. We finally left the hotel around noon and shopped our hearts out til we were ready for some dinner. We ate at Pancho & Lefty's. We ate so much it hurt! It was so good tho!

We were so full we decided we better go to Krave and get some frozen yogurt!!

Then we made our way out to the Tuacahn to see Grease with ALL the girls. Grease wasn't my favorite but it was fun to be together and laugh about the cheesy stuff after!

The next morning we got up had some breakfast outside again and then got our bags packed. We went to a few stores and then to Texas road house and ate way too much again. Then it was time to head home:(
On our way home we passed passed this lady and we all about died laughing!! She was so far up it was scary!! So we slowed down to get one more look and Tay tried to snap a picture but she came flying by so we were trying to catch up to her at this point we were all about in tears...I think the guy in the back caught Tay taking a picture!!!

We had a really fun time and can't wait for our next girls trip!!! We missed Mandee(it was Jarens birthday so she was a good wife and stayed home to party with him), Karol(she had to work), Rachel and Lex!!

Sleepover!!

Paul's sister Carolyn and her cute little family come to Utah once a year and stay for a week or two. Its always fun to spend time with them! This is our second year that we've had the girls stay at our house for the night. Last year we were in St. George and this year we're in Provo. We took the girls, Madix and Connly to Provo resort and let them run wild. I think they had a ton of fun and got some sweet prizes. Avia became friends with the girls at seven peaks and we asked her and Madix to come have a sleep over. We had a full house! Lots of fun! When we got back to the house we had a "pizza party", watched movies and painted lots of nails and toe nails:) We wish so bad that we could see them more often but we will take what we can get! We can't wait for next year!!

We have some CRAZY daring guys in our family... They make me so nervous. My dear husband has no fear. This is where Connly gets it. The other boys are fearless to!Perfect. Us girls are telling them not to do it and they don't listen. They all jumped of a 80 foot or higher cliff! Made my stomach sick. If you want to see a video go to Karol's blog. Yuba was SO full there were no beaches. I'm not kidding it was crazy it hasn't been this full since 1986! It turned out to be fun day at the lake! The lake is one of our very favorite places to be. The Cliffs that the guys were jumping off got higher and higher as they got more daring and more daring. We had to keep reminding them they are daddy's and a future daddy.

The next day for church my mom had to help him get his suit coat on for church and help him do his hair. He's Dad though and wont tell ya its bothering him you can just tell. Its getting better but still a little sore. The boat rocked him right to sleep:)

SEVEN PEAKS!!!

We loved every minute of it last year so we HAD to get passes again this year! The first five seconds of the first day Connly had to warm up to the idea then he turned into a little fish! He's loving the water!! He loves going down the little kid slide and playing with all the little wheels. He likes floating down the lazy river watching Av dive in and out of the water. I was telling Av and Madix to plug their noses and go under water and I look over and Connly is plugging his nose laughing at me haha! My baby is getting so big! He's all over the place this year! Wish I had a waterproof camera so I could get him in action in the water!

What a fun date night!! Thanks to my Aunt Rachel! She gave us for free tickets to the Bee's game. I couldn't pass up something fun and different that we don't do all the time. We had awesome seats. Paul and me were asked to play a game with a balloon with another couple during one of the little breaks(or whatever there called in baseball) I'm too chicken so we told them to ask Ryan and his wife Crystal(they're from Nephi) that were right next to us. They did it and won! The couple that lost the guy asked his lady to marry him!! How cute!:)

Av did Mini Drill up north. Connly and I met Mckel and Madix to watch her in a parade! We had so much fun!

Paul's sister is in town and we were able to take the girls to Seven Peaks! Its so fun to have them here and spend time with them!

Friday night we had a BBQ at my parents and then roasted some treats around the fire pit. I love setting around with my family telling stories and our darkest secrets;) and laughing til it hurts. We love being together. We have fun! Even if we go fishing and don't catch anything or even get one bite! We went up Nephi Canyon. My Grandpa Dave loved to fish and I remember fishing at this pond with him. I know he had luck here but we NEVER do!! I guess throwing rocks really does scare the fish away;) Either way we had fun just letting the kids play in water and Mckel casting Madix's line out for him and her worm flew right past the people's faces that were to the right of us! lol Seriously so funny!! The kid even brought the worm back to her! Connly really thought he was doin it with his pole! He loved splashing it down in the water.

It was a pretty warm day so after we'd had enough fishing we decided to go back to Mom and Dad's to let the kids play in the water...They had a blast!! Everyone but Connly haha He wasn't so sure about the running through the cold water!

Memorial Day Weekend...

The weekend didn't go as planned because of the rain. It had been so rainy forever it seemed like. We planned to go to Park city Saturday and then the Zoo on Monday but that didn't happen. We went bowling Monday and to lunch with the family. Its always fun to go bowling with my family. We all had funny names that made it that much more fun and funny! It was Connly's fist time bowling(pictures to come when I steal them from my mom). That night Jordan invited us to go make a fire and roast marshmallows out by Utah lake. Its seriously right down the road from us and I'm not sure why we haven't done this until now. Lots more fires and roasting marshmallows to come this summer!! Jordan's friends and neighbors were also there it was fun to meet them and hear the funny stories.----------------------------------------------------------------

Seriously he is mess maker but a cute one! I think he got the messy and cute par from his Dad;) I give him a snack before I put him down for his naps and he usually does good at keeping his snacks in his bowl well this time he had other things in mind. He's a little too big for his bumbo chair but loves to get it out and have a seat and use it to climb up on things he shouldn't:) (as you can see he loves to get out every single toy he has just to get them out along with everything else that's in his reach) I was actually updating the blog and turned around to see the mess he had made and this is the look I got hahaha I'm in for it! Little monkey. and of course he had to come take a look at the picture I took of him:)
He loves to feed himself...it sure is messy!!!He loved climbing in the wipes box and having me pull him around. I love that smile and those cheeks!:)

Val and Me met up and had a picnic at a park in Pleasant Grove. Its called the Discovery Park. Its a pretty sweet park! Nixon and Connly had a blast. They've missed each other!:)

When Paul got home that night we took Mckel's kids to the park and for ice cream while her and mike went to the temple and dinner. Its so nice to get out of the house and enjoy the good weather!! We had a great time!!

Connly REALLY has a hard time setting still and not making really loud noises during Sunday school so I've been taking him to Nursery and I stay in there with him since he's not supposed to be in there for 2 more months. They're really nice about it and don't seem to mind. He looks bigger than most of the kids in there lol. We usually leave and go to relief society but last Sunday they asked me to stay and help with the lesson and snack time. Connly loved it and he got to color his first picture of Jesus:) Seriously where has the time gone?:( My baby is growing up way too fast. I say that every time because he is! He is learning crazy new things every single day. He is fearless and scares his momma more and more every day doing crazy things! He thinks he's big and tries to do what the big kids are doing. He's in Heaven when he's with Av, Madix and Jayden. Talks to Daxton how I talk to him. Gets right in his face and makes me jump out of my skin when he tries to get in Daxtons car seat with him. He's saying more words every day.He Says Uh Oh when drops something or when he's done something naughty:) He's got about 6 new teeth this month. We're working on the animal sounds he thinks when Paul or me do them its pretty funny. He's still my little climber. He'll climb up in his high chair. We did not teach him this. Its scary. He did when I wasn't looking one day and fell backwards and hit his little head. He is hungry all day every day. If I let him eat all day he would. He'll come give ya his jacket or shoes when he's ready to go outside. He'll pull on the door nob when he's ready to go outside. He loves putting on our big shoes and walking around. He loves being outside. I'm glad its finally warming up so we can go outside!! He "talks" all day. He's not scared of anyone. Makes me a little nervous. He gives hugs. Its the cutest thing. If your laying on the floor he'll grab a book and have seat on ya where ever he lands even if its on your head. Loves Motorcycle's/Four wheelers and Trucks. He makes the noises when he plays with them. I think his most favorite thing right now is Grandpa and Grandma back yard. First thing when we get to their house. He's on the search for Grandpa Gary and usually takes his hand and wants to go outside. I'm sure I'm forgetting some things our little man has been up to but here is a little update! We love you Connly thanks for making life so fun!!

BBQ with the Hogue's

We don't get to go with Paul's family much. Usually once a year with his Brothers and Sisters. They live out of state so that makes it a little tough. A lot of his cousins from Paul's dad's side live in Northern Utah so its going to be a fun summer getting to know them. Paul misses his family so I'm so glad his cousin Brad called him and said they were getting bunch of the cousins together and having a BBQ at Brad's house in Lehi. We had a great time! I met a lot of new faces. The Hogue side is HUGE I have lots more family to meet.

I've known Uncle Dennis and his family since we've been married and I might get in trouble for saying this but Dennis is my favorite. He's down to earth and so funny!!! In this picture Paul and Jess thought it was funny to let Connly pull Dennis hair...OUCH!

Ryan and Paul are exactly One year apart. Ryan just got back from Iraq. Paul and him have always been pretty close. They lived together in the same house growing up at one point. We're glad he's home and safe! Thanks for all you do Ryan to serve our Country!!

We left when Connly started to get tired and I decided to climb in the crib for some cuddling time. Its the only time he'll actually lay and cuddle with me!! I love this little boy!!

Jayden's busy day!!

Jayden Graduated Preschool On Friday afternoon. Connly and I were so excited to go watch him show us what he had learned. He was so cute singing the songs lol! While the kids were singing Connly was dancing in my arms. He wanted to be up there with Jayden. Miss Josalyn does an amazing job. Av went to two years of preschool with her and Jayden has one down and one more to go and both Mckel and Mandee have said how much they love her and how good she is with kids! Later that night we went to watch Jayden at his Dance Review. Oh man were those boys cute!! Jayden did a great job and danced all three dances. I know Mandee was praying he would dance and not stand there and HE DID! We all got a good laugh. Watching the little girls dance made me sad that I missed Av's dance review when we were in Hawaii!! Grandpa's funeral was perfect. My Dad, Uncle Mike and Uncle Val did a great job talking about their Dad and all their memories. Grandpa was a funny guy:) He had a joke for everything. Every Sunday growing up we rode our bikes down to Grandma and Grandpa's to visit. Him and grandma didn't and still don't miss a thing! He didn't miss one thing from Dance recitals, Tball games, and Jr. jazz when we were little to Cheer, Drill team,Sports and Proms when we were in High school and everything after Weddings, Baby blessings, Birthdays and so much more. He's the best Grandpa we could ever ask for. I hope he knows how much we love and miss him!! It just wont be the same without him. We know he's in a better place and that's what helps us get through this sad time. He isn't hurting anymore and He is now with his family and our kids that are waiting to come to this earth. I'm sure he's telling them all sorts of stories about us!;)

It was like a dream. We thought the day to leave for Hawaii would never come. It did and the 8 days went by FAST. Paul wanted to stay there forever. I wanted to stay 3 or 4 months if Connly was there with us. WE LOVED EVERY SINGLE MINUTE. Are days were packed with FUN. We dropped Connly off to McKel in Nephi on Saturday. Paul said I took two years to say goodbye. I did. Before we were off to Vegas we stopped at the Hospital to see Grandpa Ted. I'm so glad we did. We were there for around an hour and its one I will never forget. He told us about when Grandma and him went to Hawaii. I told him I'd bring him home Chocolate covered macadamia nuts. Grandma said no there to expensive but Grandpa said "Ya bring me Macadamia Nuts!" I'm so glad that I kissed him and told him that I love him. We got a on the road. We stopped in St. George to see Judy. We went over to Katie and Kens and seriously they are probably the funniest people we know! It was so good to see all of them. So good to see Judy laugh and smile. She deserves nothing but happiness!! We flew out of Vegas around 2 am Vegas time. We slept almost the whole flight. When we landed we got our sweet rental car a Ferrari I mean Ford Focus. We checked in to Royal Grove Hotel(Jerry's brother owns it and got us a sweet deal). Changed are clothes and went to church(missing some pictures it wont let me add them?)When we walked in everyone was taking a double take and they were in shock to see Elder Hogue! It was Fast and Testimony meeting. Paul got up and bore his testimony. I've only seen Paul cry a couple times ever and this was one of the times. I guess I didn't realize how much he missed the people of Hawaii. He was telling everyone who I was and that Elder Jones was my little brother. Everyone busted up laughing. It was pretty funny. I loved how every one's Testimony started with a big ALOHA and everyone says it back. The Hawaii people are very laid back and very welcoming. This was just the beginning of a meeting a TON of amazing people. Some of the nicest people I've ever met. After church we couldn't wait to get to the beach!! Our Hotel was one block from the beach. HEAVEN.
We stayed at the beach and watched the sun go down. Once it got dark we walked around to a bunch of shops and just had fun people watching:)

On our walk back to our room we stopped at the La Cucharacha a YUMMY Mexican place that was outside. I remember going there last time I was in Hawaii and was happy that it was on the same block as our Hotel.
Monday we woke and headed to Olomana to meet up at Dina and Jerry's house. Paul taught and converted Dina. Seriously two of the nicest people ever. They took us to hike Mount Olomana. Lets just say its wasn't a hike most of the way up was rock climbing. Half way up I was thinking to myself what the heck am I doing? I was probably purple in the face and couldn't breath. Everyone kept asking if I was ok. Yup doing great!! HAHAHA Seriously wanted to fall over dead. You know what kept me going? Dina is around 55 and Gerry is 60...I'm TWENTY FOUR! How amazing are they!?! I'm a wimp! In my head I just kept saying Keisha you can't quit you can do this. I did it!Thank goodness I caught my second wind and didn't kill over.

The prettiest views made it all worth it!!

The breeze was so nice. I wasn't just telling stories my face was purple and I'm sweating like no other. BUT look at that view this picture does no justice to how pretty it really was up there.

We got to the last rock climb about 15 feet up and we watched Dina go then Jerry then these girls were on there way down so we let them make their way down cause it was probably going to take me 20 minutes to climb up there;) as the last girl is making her way down she slips and is hanging by the rope keep in mind the mountains in Hawaii are different and a little scary. 300 foot drop on each side of you. So here we are watching this girl. Jerry grabs her arm. Smashing his hand in between the rock and her hand. She about died right before our eyes. At the moment I decided I wasn't going up. So Paul went up and I waited at the bottom for them to come back down.

Paul had the camera and this was the two other peeks. The first one was good enough for us! Another fun fact about Mount Olomana Dina and Jerry were married at the very top!!

After our hick/rock climb we got some lunch and had a little picnic at Kailua Beach. I love that we got to go to all the beaches that only locals really know about.

Tuesday my legs were so sore I couldn't believe it. Paul had a good time laughing at me waddle around. We went to Keoni's about a block away. Birds would fly in and eat the left overs off the plates.

We met up with some kids that Paul taught. We went to Mokapu'u Beach

I was terrible with taking pictures while were down on the beach. Paul and the boys were body surfing and i was soaking up some rays! The water was so blue I loved it!

Kapili, Kapua, Paul and Ikaika. Paul had the time of his life! He loves these guys.After the beach we went to Uncle Marks farm. His wife and him have 8 CUTE kids. Seriously the cutest kids. Seeing their kids made me miss my little man! Uncle Mark showed us around his farm. Farms in Hawaii are SO much different from farms in Utah. It was really awesome to see what they grow and how they grow the things they do. This is Uncle Mark husking a coconut. Never knew this is how they do it.

Apple Banana's. Uncle Mark gave us a bag FULL of them. We had to give some away at the end of the week cause we weren't going to be able to eat them all. He also gave us a big bag of dried apple banana's. They were so good!

Later on Paul and me went back to Waikiki and walked down the beach to where I stayed when I went to Hawaii with my parents and watched the sun go down and enjoyed an amazing shaved ice!

Wednesday MAY 4Th I turned the big 24 in Hawaii!! We went to the Swap meet I forgot to take a picture but it was so fun. Then we went to Waimea Valley. It was SO pretty. You could pay to take the shuttle/golf cart up to the waterfall but we decided to walk. It looked like what I picture the garden of Eden to look like. So green and beautiful!

We got to the waterfall and we were able to swim in the little pond. It was so fun! One of my favorite things we did all week.

on our walk back down we got a picture of Paul by the Taro. Its really cultural and they use it in a lot their foods(thats what Elder Hogue told me)

On our way out we used the self timer and tried to get a picture of us with the sign lol it needs to be cropped so you can actually see the sign.

we then drove 3 minutes to Waimea Bay it was a little windy and right before we left it started to rain but the rain is warm so it didn't bother us!

Paul had a blast jumping off the rocks and body surfing and getting takin out by the huge waves!!

To end the night we went to Yogurtland on the beach and walked up and down the beach. Paul made my birthday so much fun! Its defantly one I will never foget!!!

Thursday we got up and went to Hanauma Bay to do some snorkling. I don't love snorkling but I did it because Paul was so excited to go. He promised not to scare me like my brother did when I went with him. lol Funny thing is I thought he knew I was right behind him and I gave him a little pinch on the butt and I scared him and he wasnt very happy LOL Oh shoot.Still makes me laugh thinking about it. Pauls still mad about it. After a couple hours we headed back to Waikiki beach to swim and soke up some more sun!

Later on our way to Tiffany and Jenson's house to have BBQ we stopped at house #4 that Paul lived at. They lived with the Gibsons and they're the people that own the famous hawaiian bulls that they use at the Ute stampede and I'm sure at alot of other rodeos around the world.

The Panella's. Very nice people. Brother Panella just had surgery on his eyes thats why he had sunglasses on. When we were making plans to go to Hawaii they offered us their basement for us to stay in. Next time we're going to take them up on that offer!! Very nice people.

Friday we were planning to go to the beach with Hope and Robert and their family but it was a little rainy so kinda took our time getting over to Hau'ula to spend the day with them. On our way we stopped in Waipahu and took a picture of house #7

We stopped at the Hukilau Cafe in Laie for some lunch. Yum.

We went to Laie Point it was a really pretty view. Windy but pretty!

Stopped to get a picture of house #7 in Laie. We then went to Hopes Auntie's house that was RIGHT on the beach she lives on the eighth floor so some days she sees whales and sharks and turtles. Paul spotted a turtle while we were there. It was an amazing view. I didnt get any pictures of us hanging out. Hopes Auntie made us a great dinner and we had a great time. We were also able to go to the distribution center to help Hope and Robert get their garments for their big day Saturday!

Saturday was a very special day. We were able to be at Robert and Hopes sealing. They had their 3 little kids sealed to them(one had passed away). It was awesome!!! I know Paul was beyond happy to be there for the special day and so was I. Paul and his companion Trevor reinactivated Hope and baptized Robert and got them civally married. They are very down to earth nice people!!Hope, Robert, Mana and Serenity After the temple we went and had the best Chinese food I've ever had with Hope and Roberts family. They wouldnt let us pay for our food. They're seriously the nicest people. Hopes grandma helped build the PCC and was able to get us and the Vantiendren's free passes. We just had to pay for our meal! How nice of them!!! The weather was awesome not too hot to be walking around but not cold. It was the perfect way spend our last full day in Hawaii.

Sunday morning we woke up to some very very sad news. My grandpa passed away that morning. Never a phone call you want to get. We got ready and headed to church and I wasn't holding myself together very well so the people at the ward were probably wondering whats wrong with Elder Hogues wife? Before leaving our Hotel we got some pictures of the "Zilton" as my dad calls it. Not the Hilton but the Zilton:) We got a lot of funny memories from our stay at the Royal Grove. First thing when we got there I had to pee and I sat on the toilet and I really thought the toilet was going to come off the wall made the loudest noise so everytime after that I was really careful!! We laughed so hard I couldnt breathe. The hand made signs we're pretty sweet. The front desk worker was asleep a couple times we came back or left in the morning. The fridge just in the middle of the "kitchen". The 12" tv 15 ft from our bed. Seriously we got the best memories from staying there!! It was clean and that is all that matter to me!!

We were very sad to leave I met the most amazing people. I've never met such GIVING people. I can't wait to go back!!!Leaving was bitter sweet So sad to leave but SO EXCITED TO SEE CONNLY. I couldnt wait to squeeze him and kiss his cheeks!!! McKel Thank You again for taking him for us for so many days!!! Love you!!

Theodore Jones 1935 ~ 2011 Theodore Orton Jones, beloved husband, father, grandfather, age 76 passed away May 8, 2011 in Nephi, Utah. He was born March 27, 1935 in Parowan, Utah to Bert Theodore and Elta Orton Jones. He married Donna Faye Malmgren April 16, 1955 in Levan, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple, April 19, 1972. Raised during the last of the depression, he learned at a young age the value of hard work. He kept this work ethic throughout his life with many jobs. He worked as a sales representative for 16 years for Pexton Wholesale. In 1972 he built a new building and owned and operated TJ's Drive Inn for 18 years with his wife. He was employed by Mid-States five years before retiring at the age of 67. He gave services to his community by membership in the Lions Club for 40 years and serving as President. He was a member and president of the Ute Stampede Committee, member of Nephi Western Credit Union credit committee, and member of the Nebo Posse. He was a member of the LDS church serving as a home teacher. He was a fun loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Donna of 56 years; sons, Michael (Ann) Jones; Gary (Lori) Jones; Val (Heidi) Jones; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren all of Nephi. Preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marie Bostwick; brother, Don W. Jones; great-granddaughter, Reggie Bell. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2011 in the Nephi Stake Center, 351 North 100 West. Family and friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North and at the church one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the Nephi Vine Bluff Cemetery.

HAWAII HERE WE COME!!!

Since we're leaving tomorrow for EIGHT WHOLE DAYS...I wanted to take Connly and do something fun. I'm a little scared he's going to forget me. What if he thinks I just up and left him. What if he doesn't want to come home to boring old me!? hahaha I'm a NUT CASE!! I have to say one thing MCKEL is one awesome sister. She offered to take Connly for the WHOLE 8 days that we will be gone. I know he's going to love it at their house. He's going to be so busy with the kids. I'm so grateful for her for so many things. Bless her heart. I know she'll keep my baby safe and treat him like her own. I've only left him over night so 8 days is a very long time. Paul and me will have a blast I just know we will but there is no doubt I will have a few break downs. Good thing she told me I can call at anytime I need to hear him even its 3 in the morning ....but I wont do that to her;) Tonight we took him to Jumpin Jacks and he loved it! He didn't stop jumping or running the whole time we were there. I'm going to miss him!!

Easter Weekend!!

Another fun Easter weekend at the sand dunes!! The weather turned out not so bad and Connly and me actually were able to come out of the trailer this year!!(last year it was cold and windy and Connly was too little to be out in the cold) So we had a BLAST this year. Connly loved all the four wheelers and sat on each one of them about 102 times. He didn't mind wearing a Helmet which was a plus. He loved going for rides and talked and made the 4wheeler sounds the whole time. Hopefully next year we can have enough money saved up to get us a four wheeler. Thanks to my dad for letting us take his! We were out there Friday and Saturday. Grandpa and Avia were digging for treasure and Grandpa had a fun idea to put the kids in the hole and cover their feet:) They thought that was just great! going for a ride madix in the blue and connly is in avia's cute pink helmet!

EaStER 2011

We went to church at the singles ward branch with my parents, Jordan and Karol. Connly has a hard time setting still during church or anytime(just like most 1 years old) So Paul and I most of the time are taking turns chasing the wild man around. It has crossed my mind to just pack up and head home because we're not getting much out of the talks and most of the time we're just trying to keep Connly quiet. We don't we stay because I want Connly to know that its important to be to church and I know we'll be blessed for being there. One of my friends on facebook posted on her status that There is a Reason for the this Season and I agree. I have Testimony of the Gospel. Jesus loves us. He loves us so much that he he suffered and died and was resurrected so that we can be resurrected someday.

After church Grandpa and Grandma gave the grand kids their Easter baskets full of way fun things and had a fun Easter egg hunt for the kids and then another one for the BIG kids! Thanks Mom and Dad we had a ton of fun!!

Connly kinda ditched out on the Easter egg hunt there are too many other fun things in Grandma's yard to play with!

Connly's 1st Easter Egg Hunt.

We headed down to Nephi on Saturday morning for the Easter egg hunt. The last time I went to Nephi's Easter egg hunt I was the little one running around for the eggs. Crazy to think Connly is old enough!! There were a TON of eggs and the kids had a blast!! Connly's age group was the first to go so we got there and got a picture with the Easter bunny he was giving tooth brushes:) I took a few pictures trying to get Connly to look at me but he couldn't take his eyes off the bunny! There were people waiting so this is what we got!Connly and Dad wanting patiently. There seriously was so many eggs.and they're off!Connly actually loved THROWING the eggs in his basket after feeling up his basket dad got a plastic bag and they started feeling that up. After a little bit Connly started giving his eggs away lol. Then he wanted to start opening them up to see what was inside. I would say he had tons of fun!

We were going to head to Park City to do some shopping but it was such a good day that we decided to stay at my parents and let the kids play. They played hard all day long! Connly loves being outside. He especially loves playing with the big kids! You can just tell he think he's just as big and thinks he can do whatever they're doing. My baby is growing toooo fast!!

These kids have Grandpa wrapped around their fingers. He's all about making sure they're having fun!! Avia wanted someone to push her around in the wagon and my dad pulled out the lawn mower and pulled them around! They thought that was the coolest thing ever!!

Two Saturday's ago we went out to Sand dunes. It was so nice to be outside it was a little windy but we still had fun! Looking at these pictures make me so excited for Easter weekend!! Madix let Connly use his little four wheeler that he had when he was Connly's age. It was pretty funny to watch Connly take things out on that little thing.

If you've been around Connly you've witnessed his sweet moves. He hears music and he dances or bobs his head. Connly you put a smile every one's face when you dance!! This day I turned my ipod on and gave it to him. I was in shock he sat there for 10 minutes listening and bobbing his head. 10 minutes is a very long time for him! He carried it around with him for a long time. So funny.

Honolulu Hawaii Mission Reunion

Paul, Connly, Karol, Jordan and Me headed to South Jordan for Paul and Jordan's mission reunion. It was so much fun for Paul to see people from his mission that he hasn't seen for years. He didn't stop smiling and laughing the whole night. I was happy to be there with him and meet some really nice people that he served with. Next time Connly man probably wont be joining in on the fun lol I was chasing our WILD man everywhere. Seriously. Everywhere. Oh how we love him to death tho! President and his wife are the NICEST people ever. I feel like I've known them for years. They make you feel so comfortable. They gave everyone book marked that had some really good quotes on them-

Basketball

Paul LOVES Basketball. That's always been his sport. I love to watch him play. He's good:) Is that bragging too much?

For the last about 5 months he's been playing Monday and Thursday nights. Connly and me tried to make it to most of his games that weren't after Connly's bed time. I can't say I got to see much of the game...I chased our Monkey around and tried to keep him off the floor and out of the bathroom toilets. I do know it meant a lot to Paul that we were there. He plays in two different leagues. Nephi City League:) and Pinnacle. His last game is tonight for the Championship. Connly and me wont make it tonight so Go JONES N Company!:)
