HApPy BiRtHDay MOM!!

The day before Mom's birthday was Karol's shower. This is a short version of what happened that day. We were getting ready that morning I was in and out of my mom's bathroom. I went in to blow dry my hair and before I started I realized she looked like she was getting hot so I told her I'd take the blow dryer into the other bathroom she said she was OK but I still went into the other bathroom so I didn't over heat her. I went in to take the blow dryer back a few minutes later and she was bent down with her head on the sink. She was sweating. I asked her if she needed a drink she said no...but I knew she did! So I ran to get a glass of water and by the time I made it back(2 seconds later) I found her on floor passed out. Not just passed out though she was shaking and her mouth was opening and closing real fast. Her eyes were rolled back into her head. Her body was tense. I swear she had a mini seizure. I've never been so scared in my whole life. I kept yelling her name but she wasn't coming to. I ran to get my Dad. He was in the bathroom 1 second flat. What broke my heart even more was to see my Dad looking at my mom with a look on his face that I've never seen. He was losing color in his face. He was trying to get her to come to. I asked him if we should call 911 and she heard me! All she said was no but it was something! She started to come to. We got her knees up(I was trying to think of all the things she use to do to me when I use to pass out on her) Her color wasn't coming back and she had no strength. She was getting mad at herself because she couldn't hold the cup to take a drink. She was SO worried about being ready for the shower. Mckel and My dad started getting ready for the shower so she wouldn't worry but then she kept saying how she didn't want anyone to be mad at her?? I think I told her 102 times that no one is going to be mad at you!! We tried our hardest to get her better for the shower because we knew she didn't want to miss it. She kept telling me that mom's aren't supposed to be sick and that she was supposed to be taking care of me. I kept telling her that its OK that she doesn't feel good and that its our turn to take care of her. She wasn't happy about being sick at all!Diet coke and crackers didn't work;) She didn't want to be laying there sick while people show up to her house so my dad took her to Mandee's. Shortly after he ended up taking her out to the ER because she wasn't getting any better. She lost so much blood that she was boarder line Heart attack or Stroke!! They ended having to give her 4 units of blood. She ended up staying the night at the hospital. The next day was her BIRTHDAY!! We tried to make the most of her day and brought the PARTY to her!! We decorated her room and had cake and ice cream as a family. We were so glad to get her home. We love you Mom!!! You are such a strong example in our lives!! Thanks for being a awesome Grandma!

While we were at the hospital Connly ran right into the corner of the counter in grandma's room and got a bloody nose and split his little lip open! Little man watch where your going mom doesn't like to see you hurt!;)

Already??

Our BABY is ONE year old!!

Mckel told me about this song a while ago and it has become my favorite song. It reminds me of Connly. The song is called Hourglass by Mindy Gledhill. You will love it:)
Little boy, when you speak

I cant help but kiss your cheeks

I love the way you grab my hands

And tell me all about your plans

Rocket high, comets fly You and I could hitch a ride

And fly away to Never land

And give our best to Peter Pan

When you reach for the stars

Don't forget who you are

And please don't turn around and grow up way too fast

See the sand in my grasp From the first to the last

Every grain becomes a memory of the past

Oh, life's an hourglass Life's an hourglass

Story's read, prayer is said Close your eyes sleepy head

While angels linger in your dreams

And hold you in their feathered wings

Just like you, I was small Not that long ago at all

I wish you all the happiness

That God gives freely if you ask

Connly's 1st Birthday Party post coming soon:)
