We're so Excited!

(This isn't our baby but this is how big our baby should be)

I wrote down Thursday for our first doctors appointment BUT its tomorrow at 9:00am! I can't wait! I think hearing the heart beat will help it seem more real! Some days it feels and looks like I'm showing a little. Most every day it feels like I am. Not a cute pregnant belly kinda just chubby. Awkward stage. I was sick for quite a while but I got so sick of being sick and went to the doctor and got some medicine and its be wonderful to not feel sick! I wish we could find out tomorrow if it is a Boy or Girl.But we'll have to work on our patients and wait until is it 18 weeks? I think it would be fun to know what everyone thinks it will be:)Boy or Girl? Let me know what you think....

I've always loved weekends...

I love weekends more than ever now!Paul has been working two jobs this summer to save for the baby...So I feel like I never see my husband only on weekends!:( He got of early on Friday so We went to see the Movie Up in 3D at the 12:10 show.We got our glasses, some popcorn and we even stopped and got drinks and some candy on our way to the movie. Before the Movie started we took some pictures in our sweet glasses. The movie starts and about 5 minutes into it the movie stops. The manager comes in fifteen minutes later and says the movie should be up and working in 5 minutes after about 20 min it never come back on. The manager comes back to say that they can't get it to play so we can come back for the next show. Paul had to work his other job at three so we didn't get to see the movie:( lol we can laugh about it now)

On Saturday Jos invited us to Kyles surprise birthday BBQ. We had a lot of fun.We forgot to take pictures! Thanks for letting us come Jos and Kyle! We had a great weekend! We get to hear our babies heart beat for the first time this Thursday! We are super excited! Then off to Nephi for the 4th of July!

All will change come January...

This is our little story. Paul at first wanted to wait a year or two:) I didn't want to wait a year but we both agreed to 6 months or so. First off I tried birth control right before we got married and lets just say it made me feel crazy. So I got off of it. Then when we got married three months ago:) when I'd see babies I'd tell Paul I wanted one. He'd get this sick look on his face cause he knew I wasn't joking haha but the more we hung out with Avia, Madix Jayden and little Dezie I think he warmed up to the thought of having our own little baby:) Now here we are 10 weeks pregnant and excited as ever.Some people might be confused because we've only been married for just a short time but I guess we waste no time! I can't wait to have a little baby to take every where with me!How I found out and how I told Paul...I was 10 days late and I'm usually never late so I debated on taking a test I finally took one and there was no need to wait the three minutes when I sat the test down it instantly was positive I wasn't expecting it to be positive because we weren't really trying but I guess if your not on birth control you can't be too careful...just call me fertel merdel! Back to the story Paul wasn't home when I took the test but he was supposed to be home in five minutes so I'm running in circles trying figure out how I can tell him in a cute way. I could not find our gift bags and come on we just got married we have six million bags some where! I found one! and I couldn't find tissue paper to make it all cute so I resorted to paper towels! Oh man I was freakin out. I put the bag on the table with a little not that said Paul I just wanted to surprise you with a gift to remind you how much I love you! Inside the bag was the test with another little note that said We're having a baby!!! When he got home I told him there was a gift on the table from me. He replied with Babe its not my birthday you didn't need to get me something...lol! I couldn't stop smiling! He opened it and took the test and the little note out and just stood there for a minute looking at it and looking at me like are you serious???(at this point I was dying cause he looked so confused)but then he hugged me and said cool!hahaha I think we both were in shock for a couple days. We kept it a secret for a month! That was hard! I told my brother first because he's on a mission he's always the last to know so I told him three weeks before I told my family. His response was SSSSSWWWWWWEEEEEEEEETTTTT! YOUR HAVING A BABY! your doing what the lord commanded multiply and replenish lol.I asked him if he would help me tell our family. He emailed my mom and said he was sending the family on a scavenger hunt on Saturday at four the first clue would be outside of grandma Shirley's house. That clue said to come back to mom and dad's house and the next clue would be outside. They found the box and inside was a gift for everyone to open the gifts were baby things like a bottle, baby toys, etc.:) while everyone was opening their gifts my dad was reading this...

I do not have a face to see or put inside a frame

I do not have soft cheeks to kiss

I don't yet have a name.

You can't yet hold my tiny hands

Nor whisper in my ear.

It's still too soon to sing a song,Or cuddle me so near.

But all will change come

January 20Th

That's when they say I'm due.

I'm your new grandson or granddaughter.

I can't wait til I meet you.

It was so fun and it turned out great! I'm so glad its not a secret anymore!!!We couldn't be more excited! (pictures to come of the scavenger hunt)

I'm 10 Weeks Pregnant!

On the Road again...

We're off to Nephi for fathers day weekend! We're both excited to go! I feel like its been a year since we've seen the family. It's a much needed trip for sure! Jordan is sending our family on a scavenger hunt Saturday.We're pretty excited about that:)

I'm glad we get to spend fathers day with my dad. He's one of my very best friends. We talk every day and I have to say I love talking to him he makes me laugh. My dad has taught me a lot. He's always put his family first. He taught me that a family that plays together stays together.I'm glad we are so close. No matter what life brings my way I know he's always there. He taught me to believe in myself and I know he believes in me. I know Paul looks up to him a lot and loves him like a dad too! We love you so much Dad!

YuMmy CoOkiEs!

We went up to Dani's parents house last night to watch the((Terrible))basketball game!I don't watch a whole lot of basketball but I have watched a couple games and I can't stand Kobe!!!lol Well the game was bad but Dani's brother made some YuMmy cookies!!! I had about ten cookies :/ they were that good!!! So I got the recipe and decided I'd put it on our blog. Everyone should try them cause they are delightful!

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

3/4 c. shortening

1 c. brown sugar

1/2 c. granulated sugar

1 egg

1/4 c. water

1 t. vanilla

1 c. flour

1 t. salt

1/2 t. baking soda

3 c. oats(old fashioned)

1 or 2 c. chocolate chips

Beat shortening, sugars, egg, water, and vanilla until smooth. Stir in combined dry ingredients. Add oats and chocolate chips. Bake at 350 for 10-12 min on greased cookie sheet.

...Somewhere Over the Rainbow...

Finally this week I got to meet my new Nieces Elise, Cora and Adelle and they're dad Shay! How cute are they?We were able to have them sleepover at our house:)Paul and I took the girls up to the Red Rocks and they loved it... hiking in their pj's:) The rainbow's were so pretty! It was so fun to spend time with the girls and get to know them! We also went swimming and to the lake!We really had a lot of fun! My camera was dead for the swimming and the lake:( In July I will finally meet Salina and Kiera for the first time and I'm way excited!.

Logan and Dani's Wedding...

Logan and Dani were married May 30Th in the St. George Temple. Logan and Paul have been best friends for a long time and Dani and I have just become best friends...we were excited for them and so happy we got to be there with them at the temple! We love you guys lots!!! We're excited for all the fun times to come!!! Being crazy at the reception:)
